Oh my god. And they're still doing the '45' thing. 'Childlike' was a far more generous description than they deserved. And they still couldn't handle it. LMAO

They're probably sooo pissed that trump got the number 45 because it's a psychologically satisfying number

What they're saying implies like a quantifiable spectrum of bullshit and I would love to hear them describe the various changes that occur as one traverses along that spectrum from "truth" thru "spin" and "propaganda" all the way to "pure fiction."

they are the kind of people who believe coverage can be "objective"

Remember that one NYT reporter who thought that not voting kept him free of partisan bias education in turn helped keep him from compromising his objectivity?

Hell of a defense for the woman who imposed limitations on reporters. One key part of that 'rule':

The White House press secretary, Jen Psaki, told Politico that the communications team "would welcome any outlet banning the use of anonymous background quotes that attack people personally or speak to internal processes from people who don't even work in the Administration."

"We don't allow whistleblowing around here."

She's Biden's fucking propogandist but since Biden isn't as viscerally unhinged as Trump, of course what she spews is generally more sensible. These people have the political intelligence of a third grader.

That's not banning whistleblowing. I'm sure they have nothing but disdain for such, as they did in the Obama years, but neither of the things described is whistleblowing.

I got banned recently for saying that a certain poster shouldn't get "butthurt" that I voted green because Dems offered me nothing.

    "huggies!!"

I fuckin despise people who talk like this. It's so condescending on such a childish level. Ironic you had just mentioned their childlike understanding of politics and they just further proved the point lol. Absolutely assure you they were the one who reported you too lol

Also that last sentence of theirs is a complete contradiction lol. 👶🧠

Infantilism is an ingroup signifier for this tribe. Plus, if it pisses people off, so much the better. They're the outgroup anyway, they deserve to be angered at every opportunity.

Yep. You used to kinda be able to get away with putting the accusation a step or two away and not outright making it---e.g., "only a fool would think [synopsis of what they said]" or "that view is childish"---but not anymore.
