hmm, yes, every government is bad, and this is why I will support the overthrow of the Cuban government for.... well what is it going to be? you know what it's going to be, it's going to be neo-batista. look at the suicide, death, and alcoholism rate in Russia and Ukraine in 1991/92. it is not a neutral position to oppose anti imperialist governments

Government bad, so I will support the overthrow of ths government, while this other one that instigated it gets to stay. This is a smart, sensible and logically consistent stance to take.

Government bad, so I'll join in my superpower government in attacking a small island government that has been a target of my superpower government for decades.

btw there are no good Trots, they'll always join the counter revolution because they both share hatred of the ruling "Stalinist" government:

        https://www.leftvoice.org/cuba-freedom-for-frank-garcia-hernandez-and-other-detainees/

-Trots: color revolutions? What are those? it's all good!

        • A few years later after the color revolution, when a US backed right wing government takes over, and communists are banned.

-Trots: why me? How did this happen?

This is actually the critical moment where solidarity fucking matters. Solidarity isn't just saying "solidarity" it means standing as a unified front against reaction. Criticisms of leftism are the property of leftists, because we know what the fuck we're talking about. Put aside your criticisms for half a day and stand with your comrades. This sort of hand-wavy bullshit sucks and should never be listened to. Throwing your hands up when your faced with a problem and saying "all of it sucks" and walking away is the most liberal fucking take you could have. Oh good, you have personally, privately, insulated yourself from having a real opinion or taking a side. How fucking brave. What a new fucking take.

Seriously if you respond to the world by preemptively amputating your own voice you are being a Dumb Fuck and I will yell at you if I think it's constructive, and I will yell at you even if it isn't. Why? Because the sole reason for doing this shit is to preserve your own comfort, and you deserve to be uncomfortable.

This is the vibe I get from this type - always pissed, never wants to discuss solutions, first to complain when something new goes wrong with the status quo.

I support China on their journey to full communism (stateless communism). A project that can’t be completed until western imperialism and capitalism is defeated, as it will try to invade and conquer any stateless communist society.

This is on you, western leftists/communists/anarchists. It is YOUR leaders that are stopping the progress of communism in socialist societies around the globe.

The journey to stateless communism and defeating always has to include embedding yourself into capitalist framework as deep as possible

No one has said that lmao, the Communist Party of China has decided that is the best journey for them and their people to take because of the situation they face(d). They deliberately do not attempt to spread or impose SWCC because they believe in each country developing their own journey through their own situation and characteristics.

Huh? Let me know when you figure out how to defeat capitalism because no one has yet.

But i know understanding it as a world system is a better framework than the nation-states it created to serve it. Duh.

As an anarchist who has seen this exact playbook used too many times, this title is EXACTLY ACCURATE.

Don’t be a stupid tool of the CIA you dumbasses. That is much more important than some identity politics contrived grievance in some socialist country.

Evo Morales is the only Latin American leftist in power that I've seen these people support. Ortega, Castro, Maduro and even Castillo are no good to them. Maybe it's because Evo is indigenous.

Edit: My bad. Forgot it's Arce.

    Link to the tweet.

Looking at her twitter it's very clear she's not anti-communist or trying to both sides colour revolutions.

Also, she's trans and currently living in China, so you can absolutely see why she might have strong opinions about protesting against socialist states.

I mean that has nothing to do with China being a socialist state.

Social progress follows economic progress. People really don't have time to re-examine their beliefs if they hardly feed themselves. China just eliminated absolute poverty, so I'm sure we'll see improvements in their lgbt rights in the future.

Not necessarily. LGBT rights in Argentina are among the best, while they lag quite a bit in South Korea.

    This is sectarianism.

"Every government sucks and should die in a fire" isn't an inherently anti-communist position but it is an inherently anarchist one.

:100-com: agree saying all states are equally bad would be silly and dunking on that wouldn't be sectarianism, but I don't think it's clear that's what's happening in the screenshot. It basically just says "fuck the state", and out of context I think taking people saying that to mean they're anti-communists bothsidesing colour revolutions is going to get you in a lot more arguments with anarchists than it is actual anti-communists.

Is there some context I'm missing?

I tried to find the tweet but it seems to have been deleted.

            Thanks, Found it!

Apparently google's stopped indexing tweets twitter has marked as "may contain disturbing content" in their search, which is super fucking disturbing.

I don't think I'd dunk on it like that but in context I do get where you're coming from a lot more.

The first thread seems to be saying, the narrative of the protest is clearly controlled by the forces of capital but most people in it probably aren't, and having STRONG OPINIONS about 1000 person movements is way too online.

Responding to that with "yeah fuck the state" doesn't seem like bothsidesing colour revolutions to me. I kind of read it as "as good as Cuba is it's still a state and that's going to cause some problems" as an acknowledgement and anarchist explanation of why some non compromised/horrible people might join an anti-government protest in Cuba.

Looking at their twitter I'm 90% sure the person who made the screenshotted tweet isn't trying to bothsides a colour revolution. This tweet of hers 1 minute earlier mocking someone else for doing that seems pretty conclusive on that front.

She seems pretty cool, and also is both trans and currently living in China, so I can see why she might have strong opinions about protesting against socialist states.
