    Good mega!

Unsurprisingly, opposing POC protecting themselves is an issue that brings both parties together

Confession time: I only work about 7 hours a day before going home and no one has ever said anything. Work pays me to post on the train five hours a week.

Weird time in American history, the 1960s. All of the major progressive political leaders were assassinated. No other time that happened. Even more weird, all lone gunmen with no help at all. All coincidences. Then weirdest thing: US politics becomes wildly more reactionary after

I'm making soup bby, and it's gonna be healthy!

It's my first time using soy sheet. I cut them up into noodles and fried them with spices and miso for about 10 min while I cut up my veggies. Sure hope it tastes good!

It's not bad! Very healthy at roughly 300 cal a bowl, plus thanks to all the green veggies I put in it like celery it's full of fiber. :broc:

Thanks! It's not for lack of eating. I had a leftover mushroom fajita and a big rice bran and veg bowl, I think I gotta eat some form of junk food to satiate myself

I've never paid more than $30 for headphones for myself but somebody got me nice ones in the $80-$100 range and it's hilarious to listen to podcasts with them. The vocal fry is so crisp :chefs-kiss:

Apparently my sister is a hoarder of canned goods when the stores have case sales. To the point she had filled a room full of shit no one in her house will eat.

Guess who got enough canned veggies to last the next 2 years for free ?

    :lets-fucking-go:

Yoo.. this dude my org is helping out got pulled over with five 8 balls of coke. There were four ppl in the car and they had each purchased an 8 plus the extra for another buddy they were meeting up. Each of them got charged with possession of all five 8-balls.

Trick here was that the amount as whole opened each of them up to trafficking charges. So, our homeboy almost pleaded guilty and now we’re trying to set him up with some kind of services to get him released on bond so he doesn’t give in. But holy shit.

What in the fuuuuck. Fuck the fucking DA. Fucking bastard. :acab:

I don't think this site has the same charm that /r/CTH used to have. I used to get instant updates on news and activism (like before they would appear on /r/news and such), an appearance of left unity, and some decently funny content. Some of that remains, but 3/4 of the front page was shitposting, an 1/8th was some sectarian nonsense, and another 1/8 was late news. I know I'm being a whiner, but I still think my criticisms have merit even if they don't fix anything.

I think the main problem is there being less posters and a slower increase in active users. The sub got mentioned in other subs all the time and obviously reddit has a large user base so there were tons of posters and new ones coming in.

Growing on here will be hard because no mobile app, if someone thinks it's too radical it's easy to never come back, and encouraging people to join will probably result in raids instead of new members unless you ask like friends personally to come join. (I don't think the not having an app makes a huge difference)

We gotta start raiding reddit until we're the boogeyman again. I remember hearing people shittalking /r/shitredditsays and being like "I'm curious, what is this vile sub?" and it was just a collection of people being upset that reddit is racist. So I subscribed.
