Lack of social services like public housing and people having sex in public are connected issues...
Bro why did you take a photo you sick fuck.
How did he know this wasn't a rape or something?
Not to mention even if the sex was consensual, the pic of it definitely wasn't.
Nobody in the public who is witnessing this act consented, either. Consent Street runs two ways, even in San Francisco.
I'm gonna take the devils advocate position in that they're fucking on the street. Even if unhoused, there are still more private places to be found with little effort.
1/ here's why the term "glowie" is offensive to people of color
i mean it's short for "glow n-words" so you could make that argument
Jesus Christ this Kai Sparnas dude is an autoparody. Pinned tweeet is "my entire bloodline was owned and murdered by socialists." Furiously retweets anything showing that San Francisco is dangerous or bad or something to own the lefties who got mad at this arguable revenge porn post. Is absurdly active in his own replies. Exile government-style family history from what I can find so the CIA thing is correct too.
edit: oh and his solution for the "problem" is more brutal policing, naturally
Okay social, economic, and political issues aside, San Francisco is probably the most beautiful city in North America, objectively. Reactionaries like this reply guy here either have never been there and are lying or they were going to hold onto all of their preconceived notions about it when they went there no matter what. The worst parts of SF are still nicer than mostly places in every Midwestern city I've lived in.
Chuds get mad that San Francisco - while not great about homeless issues - doesn't use the pigs to round up their homeless and shuffle them off for the crime of existing, like they do in whatever city they're from.
San Francisco is probably the most beautiful city in North America, objectively.
Weird way of spelling Chicago.
Lol Chicago is training wheels for midwesterners who want to play Big City™ .
I like to find the beauty and charm of every single city while telling people whats good and bad about my own city and trying to draw similarities between our cities as a form of fraternity while celebrating the differences.
The least beautiful city in North America is Gray, Indiana, which is the correct way to spell what is commonly known as Gary, Indiana.
I've only driven through, so I just looked it up myself. The fact that they were literally founded by U.S. Steel explains a lot.
Cedar Rapids, IA has to be a runner up - 2 buildings that aren't hideous, and one of them is a federal courthouse, so not a good sign.
Nah, Boston is gorgeous, the buildings and sidewalks are pretty, there's a lot of public green space, and the river and harbor are both gorgeous, and it's a lot less of a tech bro dystopia than SF
I mean c'mon look at these: https://hexbear.net/pictrs/image/ETZW8Fo4Wi.jpg

The architecture, the skyline can't be compared when you visit. And the lake. So fucking beautiful.
I mean, https://tobyharriman.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Boston-Charles-River-Aerial-Photography-Downtown-1.jpg

Just cause Chicago is pretty doesn't mean Boston isn't prettier. The Charles has more green space along its banks, it's not just wall-to-wall skyscrapers, and the harbor is part of a real ocean 😤
Plus the buildings are older and the sidewalks are often brick with marble curbs instead of ugly concrete. At least we can agree that SF is not the nicest city in the states
You're all incorrect Oildale, California is far superior to whatever crab-infested hellmouth's you all live at
You're really defending Philly rn. :agony-shivering:
Jk lol, I haven't been there so I can't say shit forreal.
San Francisco is probably the most beautiful city
Weird way to say any city, town, or village in Alaska fam
I really like Berkeley. Spent a few weeks in the hills there for a conference and you get a nice view of the entire bay from there. Seeing the fog roll in and out each day was great.
San Fransisco is very pretty, and has good food. I like the street cars.
One of my wife's friends asked what it was like living in [city]. We basically said it is expensive (it is) but otherwise nice. They then asked if we had any problems with the homeless. I just responded that the city doesn't do enough to help. They actually do a decent amount compared to most cities, because it gets cold in the winter and they don't want the optics of people freezing to death, but still more etc.
I just don't see how people look at homeless people and feel hatred, and not compassion
SF has problems with how to deal homeless. Rents too high (I’m from there)
