No link, they deleted the tweet, lol.
My buddies who work service during tourist season love Americans because they all think they are supposed to tip 20% of the bill or whatever it is they do in the US so they end up earning what they would normally earn in a day of working part time from serving a single table of Americans.
Putting the cone on her head makes me think it's a racist thing.
And to think, people used to tell me I was exaggerating about the fact that people still do this
People in some countries still do it and sometimes they don't even understand it is racist. Like, I remember we learned removed kid songs and rhymes in kindergarten here. Or that other rhyme that was like "Chinese are yellow and molasses is sweet, that's the order of things and it won't change", just weird shit like that because people like 50 years ago had never even seen a Chinese person, let alone talked to them, so they only knew the stereotypes about them, and some people are still not very aware.
Even before the pandemic Anti-Asian racism got a lot more of a pass than many other forms of racism.
Ironically, I think the recent spate of anti-Asian hate crimes has reminded a lot of libs that this shit isn't okay and it's gotten a little better.
Time will tell if it'll hold up.
Juventus and gianluigi buffon “I don’t know how to answer if I’m a fascist” :solidarity:
Their apology was so bad
We sincerely apologise that our tweet, which was not meant to cause controversy or have any racial undertones, may have offended anyone. Juventus has always been against racism and discrimination. #DifferencesMakeTheDifference
:morshupls: Explaining how the apes represent our common humanity while in the background football fans make chimp noises and call players the n word.
Football delenda est
Lmao I actually see what they were trying to do, it's very stupid though.
Disgusting but not surprised. The way Bonucci handled Kean getting racially abused is still fresh in my mind.
Italians might be the most baffling group of people I have ever come across
Is this a Spanish team? Their men's national team did the same thing at the Beijing Olympics. :spain-cool:
Lmao a sports commentator in Greece was fired from national TV because he said "Koreans are doing very well at ping pong, but I don't understand, how can they see the ball go back and forth with their narrow eyes?".
A former coworker of mine once asked how I can drive with my narrow eyes. I told him that I see in wide-screen whereas he's stuck in 4:3.
The fucker even recreated it in emoji form to hammer the point home!
