      Everything is symbols of symbols of symbols now. The holiday that was originally instituted as an anti-communist against the radical labor movement is now seen as a communist holiday. Because there is no more labor movement. It's a totally detached, floating signifier just like everything else. Nothing means anything, everything can be redefined. Labor has been defeated and now they are mocking us with its corpse.

      Idk. Had a conversation with a fellow Iowa teacher who was 100% deadass convinced the surface of the sun wasn't hot, it was the aura of the sun that was hot. Whatever the fuck an aura is.
