And we are probably a week away from the peak.

This is what we call an "exit wave", meaning we have reached super-herd-immunity!

Here's to another year of unpredictible worldwide waves and rapid mutations making vaccines obsolete before they are rolled out.

For financial reasons we shall now refer to it as an Endemic+ virus.

I look forward to having all mention of it in the news disappear as we get closer to next election.

I'm thankful for COVID because now it's a fun race between it and climate change to see which massive solvable societal issue kills humanity first

I got naturally boosted in november because my partner caught it from work even though they were wearing a mask. Thanks antimaskers, very cool stuff!

I tested positive 2 days before my UNNATURAL pharma booster was scheduled. sick for about 3 weeks, but i fully recovered, luckily. Checkmate liberals, i avoided a few hours of mild arm pain for the low low cost of being sick for 3 weeks and rolling the dice on chronic illness

    covid-cool

now i gotta wait a few months before i can get the real booster, fun times

everyone should get their booster asap if they haven't already, for real serious tho for real for real

Do american officials realize that the plague will negatively impact american imperial power

If a large number of people are dead or chronically ill there'll be less healthy bodies to throw at whoever america is at war with at the moment

My entire family has covid. It's our 4th time. My 16 year old already has long covid. I just learned COVID toes are a thing. And my husband has a rash because COVID is making his kidneys not work. This is awesome

According to this, Germany has now 2.5x more gene copies per liter than compared with peaks.

Lightweights to be honest. I can handle way more liters of wastewater with exponentially higher amounts of gene copies.

Everyone has just accepted the line that there are no potential long term issues with getting COVID and that “it’s mild now no worse than the flu”.

Or they think long term issues only happen to "others", who would suffer from something else if it wasn't for covid, anyway.

I am pretty sure this anti-masking thing is a plot to cull the poor. Imagine how bad unemployment numbers would look with a million extra people

But a cut in the reserve army of labor puts upward pressure on the price of labor.

There are enough other pressure keeping the labor power low they think they are better off without consumers that can't consume

I think the math has broken down. I don't think we really produce anything anymore. So we are only valued as consumers. Poor sickly people have no value as consumers
