I just want a Tesla whose autopilot feature is controlled by a neurolink monkey who has become aware of her power and had decided to seek revenge

"One primate developed a bloody skin infection and had to be euthanized. Another was discovered missing fingers and toes, “possibly from self-mutilation or some other unspecified trauma,” and had to be put down. A third began uncontrollably vomiting shortly after surgery, and days later “appeared to collapse from exhaustion/fatigue.” An autopsy revealed the animal suffered from a brain hemorrhage."

According to Elon they will begin human trials on disabled people this year although to be fair here he said this before these results and the fact it would be on disabled people was only implied

I hate how you can't criticize animal testing without them acting like every project is just as important as the development of insulin. And that you can't have any cruelty standards.

Like quit acting like this shit is anywhere near above board, let alone necessary.

Insulin was developed over a century ago. Fucking insane that we think 1920s medical science is what we need to be doing right now.

A Musk reply guy argued that it was really impressive actually, because 8 monkeys lived.

that's 66% of them dead, there are cancers with a lower fatality rate

Yup. And we have no idea how those poor monkies are doing. You can be a vegetable and still be alive.

Honestly this shit is so villainous. Like imagine a plucky investigative reporter in the far future unearthing these articles in the local library while researching a scoop on why the Immortal Techemperor Musk is acting strange lately, and realizing we've not always lived in a bubble in the radioactive Martian wastes. Just flipping through the increasingly evil microfilms from "slave mines" to "monkey torture" to "space racist"

while researching a scoop on why the Immortal Techemperor Musk is acting strange lately

Let's get real. Musk is going out with some easily treatable ailment - like his predecessor Steve Jobs - because he passed on antibiotics to try doing a DMT enema.

You can't really argue with this logic, it is objectively the best thing to come out of him.

Perhaps, but the prospect of their precious nazis feeling anything short of bliss for the first time in their parasitic lives should make normies suddenly respect the 8th amendment.

I don't have much neuro surgury experience myself. Let alone veterinary surgury which I asssume is a deep specialized feild of research medicine. However these seem like real bad numbers for any kind of skilled professional operation.

The skin infection is basical surgical skill that even the lowest level prelerations should have avoided. Brian bleeds are not uncommon but in context it really looks like it would be representing coner cutting. I don't known the stands for post operstive recovery care, I am sure the self mutilation isn't as wild as it sounds, but for the scope of the project there should have been sufficent vet techs on scene to prevent that.
