This is the problem. People don't take their voting responsibilities seriously. At this point they must know that Joe only wants protestors to be shot in the leg, which is a marginal but definite improvement over Trump. We will also make sure that when protestors are abducted off the streets, the vans they're thrown into will be clearly marked!

One of the interesting things about this is them deliberately ignoring the timeline of Obama's second term where between Freddie Gray, Trayvon, Mike Brown, and the Kaepernick protest you had some kind of major protest kicking off literally every year including the months right before the election. They ran the same exact playbook where Pelosi, Obama, and Hillary at best managed to both sides things and then Hillary actually did lose necessary black support in the general.

It's really obvious where this is all going and they are trying so hard to avoid the obvious conclusion that the democratic party isn't part of the modern civil rights movement when for every practical and moral reason it should be.

I know electoralism is a bit daft and all that, but say what a lot of people suspect might happen happens and Trump gets a 2nd term.

Where exactly do the democrats go from there? I mean if they lose not once, but twice to Trump that's got to hurt them. I know a lot of what they do is basically controlled opposition at this point but surely they're going to suffer a bit of an exodus. Especially among their financial backers. They aren't going to like the idea of throwing away more money backing a losing horse.

I've given this a lot of thought over the years and my former insider's guess is that it just unceremoniously collapses one day in a cloud of plastic business cards and unpaid invoices, everyone left in the building steals as much of the furniture as they can carry, and rank-and-file libs keep a twilight vigil for the next four years waiting for someone like Elon Musk to set up a canvassing booth on K Street.

The election is over for Comcast. They won. I'm sure team MSNBC is so disappointed that the mildest challenge to the system will not happen and the spectacle that boosts their ratings may continue after all.

Sadly it feels more like Americans won’t vote for Biden over Trump not because he isn’t far enough to the left or even center left, but because he isn’t convincingly fascist enough.

Look at how the public opinion polls on BLM have shifted since May/June; the average American voter is buying into the “BLM & antifa wants to burn down your neighborhood” propaganda hook line and sinker. The Donald is probably going to win because his message of cuck Democratic mayors letting their cities burn to appease leftists is going to work with the boomers and socially conservative demographics who actually can and do vote and swing general elections.

Nominating Bernie wouldn’t have made much of a difference for Trump’s campaign strategy, they still would have framed him as a weak ineffective old man who can’t wrangle in the violent leftists that are taking over the Democratic Party to destroy property and property values. That message plays very well in America, especially with people nervous about the economy right now.
