"They must have used black pepper" I fucking can't holy shit this is great :meow-popcorn:
There's no such thing as a spicy fast food anything. That shit is made for the lowest common denominator, ie mayos. If you got a burger that was too spicy, its because your devastatingly hwite
Ketchup and black pepper? These are two people individually doing bits. I refuse to believe otherwise. No fucking way.
Black pepper can at least be described as spicy in flavour. Ketchup is like sugary tomatoes, wtf.
I agree that black pepper could be described as spicy, but like, mildly? Clearly a very mild spiciness right?
EDIT: Like she's acting like putting black pepper in something is similar to putting a ghost pepper or something into it.
Yeah, for sure. I mean it's the thing that complements table salt, it's meant to be a minimal addition to a meal. Or in my case, popcorn.
If you do a lot of black pepper like in cacio e pepe it has a very nice mild heat to it, but I would never describe it as a spicy food lmao
if you use a lot of black pepper I'd call that spicy, but it definitely is a weak spicy and doesn't stick on the tongue like real spice does.
I think we just have different culinary nomenclature at this point and there isn't really an argument to be had for either side.
Yes, this is a bit. Ketchup literally has added sugar.
As an aside, that's a good reason to toss out the ketchup in your fridge. I still have some but that's purely for other people. I learned the hard way not to be the dick who likes to entertain but doesn't have common condiments in his fridge.
The first guy is definitely doing a bit judging from the rest of his food tweets. He does seem to bait out a lot of unironic responses though.

This is really good shit, but it doesn't excuse the pepper lady.
I do love the screenshot of Domino's in Milan.
The only reason I would believe it is because I have an aunt who thinks that black pepper is spicy
Britain colonized the world not for the spices but to ensure no spices every made it to the cursed island.
Do Angloids really?
I always wondered if this was just a weird ethnic trope but I'm guessing the foods you are exposed to growing up really do influence your palate, because as Mexican I cannot imagine fucking ketchup or pepper being perceived as spicy lol
I remember my mom feeding me enchiladas as a toddler and I remember getting butthurt because it burned but after like the second time I was like "cool"
spoiler
based Latin American pepper cultivation
Then there’s the Mexican dads eating a chile de arbol with every meal, like my dad :blob-on-fire:
I can eat the "spiciest" Thai food but
mate they are being nice to you and giving you mild
My teenage years were basically a rocky training montage of me eating the spiciest foods I could find so I didnt end up like these people
I don't mind my mouth getting ruined, it's my bowels and asshole that are always the problem

Looks like he's fucking with people
Of course he's fucking with people. He has lots of troll tweets about food.
The people here are so easily trolled. If you took this tweet at face value you should be embarrassed.
But it lets me humiliate people I already don't like in the first place! Don't take that away from me! I have so little going in my life that I desperately need these things!
That's just spicy ketchup. I used to use it way back in the day but gave it up because it makes anything you put it on taste like spicy ketchup.
And then about ten years ago the whole internet decided it loved Siracha and made it a whole thing. Ugh.
They enslaved half the world for spices and cant even be bothered to use them.
It's always funny how Europeans go crazy over these chain restaurants. A Burger King opened here once and closed down shortly after because everybody knew it was nothing but processed gunk.
It's so bizarre because Europeans are so famous for outstanding handcrafted food, and brag about it constantly. And shit on Americans for having no culture and eating processed crap. Then some American fast food garbage opens and there are lines around the block. What gives???
Mustard is a different kind of 'heat' tho no? Like it's not capsaicin that makes it 'spicy'
Spicy foods
like ketchup
I
just looked up "Giant cracker" and picked the funniest picture
