I thought the Russians were indiscriminately killing everyone.

Why would these 'NATO Officers' (we love our 'observers', don't we folks?) think they would get safe passage from the 'savage hordes'? Especially considering that they are aiding a country currently at war with the one they are negotiating with?

Unless they know a lot of it is horseshit

Probably because they know they have a chance to get out if they think the russians might want to avoid a PR mess by not "Savagely Murdering innocent civilized democratic European Nato Peacekeepers." I mean good luck to them, they will probably need it LOL!

Eh just drop a shell on their heads and say "there were enemy combatants there", which isn't a lie anyways.

What got a bunch of my friends to understand that was standing outside our apartment complex and having them answer the question of how many "military aged males" lived there and if the US was to bomb that complex would that number reported without any other context make the attack look justified

Yeah I doubt the russians will trust the west to give them credit for anything at this point.

They also said there were 2 French agents on that helicopter that tried rescuing the Azov leaders but got shot down. This and Macron's big push a couple weeks ago to lead the Mariupol evacuation are some weird coincidences. I'm guessing NATO militaries are more directly involved with these Nazi militias than just giving them weapons

Haha dead nato top secret far right military training staff is a good thing. Losing their extremely valuable and rare experienced staff is a big deal. They have irreplacable experience and skillsets.

while the helicopter kill is widely reported in Russian media, only extremely dubious sources seem to report the French part. From what I've seen

Yeah I haven't seen it anywhere except Intel Slava Z so I'm not entirely convinced.

Do... the French sell military surplus? Because generally speaking when you're doing spooky special forces shit you leave all your fancy equipment at home and use local equipment.

Or, alternately, if they were in uniform they probably weren't doing anything sketchier than inspecting or some routine bureaucratic shit.

The French have well over a century of experience doing heinous clandestine crimes. Having a bunch of guys running around in French uniforms fighting stretches belief a little.

If I had to pick someone to trust about the purpose of Ukrainian flight missions the Russian Defense Ministry would be at the bottom of the list.

I hope these NATO officers are treated just as well as the Russian POWs were during captivity.

Whether that means they get castrated or not depends on the past actions of Ukraine's forces.

Despite all the propaganda looking to change this right now, Sweden is not a member of NATO. Why the fuck do we have NATO officers?
