    Kamala is the nominee now that the convention has happened. Had it happened before the convention, Bidens delegates would've been completely released and could've voted for any candidate on the ballot. However, to be on the ballot you needed 300 pledged delegates so Bernie would've been the candidate.

    DNC rules are that if Presidential nominee becomes ineligible for the office after nomination, the Vice Presidential nominee is the nominee for President. It'd be Kamala. RNC has same rule.
