This isn't me, I've never even played CK3. Now let me get back to playing Kerbal Space Program, and by "playing" I mean tabbing out to watch 90 minutes of videos explaining orbital rendezvous maneuvers and atmospheric influence on specific impulse of rocket engines and then taking notes on how a potential aircraft's center of mass changes in relation to the center of lift depending on the volume of fuel carried for an hour...

Only if you play with realism overhaul+RSS+RP-1(been there done that) or something. Base vanilla game is way too arcadey otherwise.

Actualy learning a bit of aerodynamics(area rule) is one of those bits of useless but fun knowledge to have.

Would be rad if we could somehow make something like space engineers with the level of physics simulation of KSP

It's only part exaggeration. I don't have to watch more videos on orbital rendezvous maneuvers since I can already do that, but I absolutely consider the videos on orbital mechanics and so on I have watched a part of the game. Even in the base game you are simply not going to ever dock two ships together without gathering some outside knowledge, and while you can just mash random parts together if you want to go to Minmus, if you're looking to go to Eve and back there will likely be a lot of planning involved.

man I wasted so much time the past few days trying to build a spaceplane in rp-1. Now I've ended up with an over-engineered abomination that requires a ridiculous bank angle and fly-by-wire to have a 50% of returning back to the earth in one piece. Currently looking into space shuttle guidance documentation to write a script so I can have a more reliable way of piloting the spacecraft other than eyeballing. I fully expect the project to not be cost effective anyways, just like the original space shuttle :agony-turbo:

yup, its quite cool. I was originally gonna use krpc which allows you to use actual languages + api but it turned out to be very jank.

I was playing Elden Ring and getting frustrated bashing my head against bosses.

Then I tried again as a sorceror. The early game is still pretty tough, but once you upgrade a good Ash summon and get Comet Azur, bosses all go down real easy

Been mostly playing modded rimworld so there's a fair few spreadsheets and categorisation if u want things to run smoothly, like making sure my animal handlers properly get the unicorns trained in hauling my latest drug harvest to the trade warehouse.
