A lot of these murderers openly admit how gullible and susceptible they are. It's the same story with Qanon reactionaries too. They always tell a story that's like "yeah i never really paid attention to politics or the news but then one day I saw a meme that broke my brain."

Yes, that's all it takes to radicalize them because they live their entire lives coasting on the basic assumptions of white supremacist imperialism without question and it destroys their mind to learn their ideology is in fact a particular ideology that can be put into words. It's completely gibberish racist drivel, but it snaps their worldview into focus like they've never understood because they've literally never thought about it before. The racist gullible nonsense was already bubbling in their heads.

There's even a part in the Turner Diaries where the main character doesn't fully understand his own motivations until he's told about Hitler. He then instantaneously morphs into a full white supremacist on a spiritual level.

You're right, they started getting indoctrinated as kids, but got fooled into believing they discovered reactionary ideology on their own

I'm not going to link it because I don't want to spread it, but it's in Chapter 10, after the main character is fully adopted into the "organization." He's given a book to read only called "the book" that describes why he needs to be a white supremacist. With the context clues of a "great one" who was born in 1889, it's clear "the book" is Mein Kampf or some kind of collection of Nazi theory

HEY. Some of us learned about communism through memes and had a similar experience tyvm. You put some respect on memes!

But the difference in ideological miasma people are steeped in leading to fascist bullshit and communism is clearly huge and I find your insight valuable for sure. I find that leftists are generally the most empathetic people who drive themselves crazy trying to make sense of how needlessly cruel our world is without a proper critique of it, so it's a process of trying to ask a question they don't have the words for that leads to their revelationary moment when they finally encounter leftist theory (even if that's in the form of memes). That's a remarkably different process than the fascist light bulb turning on as someone has their entirely unconscious and unquestioned ideology put into language for the first time, even if the subjective feeling of revelation is probably similar.

I'm curious why someone who "didn't grow up racist" was so defensive of the so-called white race to begin with? If a greater percentage of people are non-white or mixed in the future, it's no skin off your back unless you're already a bit of a white supremacist.

Thank you, I was gonna say this same shit. It doesn't actually make sense, like how tf can a person claim they were never racist but also be so proud and defensive about whiteness? So much so they were moved by obvious propaganda made by white supremists to make them feel like they and other whites are losing some imaginary war of races. He absolutely had to have some prejudices in order to believe less white people and more mixed people is bad specifically for him and other mayos. If you're not racist this shit shouldn't matter at all, it has no effect on their own personal life unless they genuinely dislike anyone not white.

Part of me thinks it's a ploy to garner sympathy. Like you know some libs gonna read that and be like, "if all these other races didn't exist he wouldn't have felt compelled to shoot people!!!" Therefor race mixing is bad or whatever absurd reasoning.

      • Ideology [she/her]

These people don't really have the self awareness to game the system. If they did they'd grift like Ben Shapiro or Gavin McInnes. People who go down this rabbit hole actually believe the things they're saying. So when they say they don't think they're racist, they don't actually think they were racist. They were just liberal or centrist and didn't think about race all that much. That being said, liberal politics is built on racism. So when you start to peel off the surface layers the ugly parts start to show. He's not trying to garner sympathy so much as get others on board with his ideology. It's in the same vein as the "you're all deluded sheeple" spouted off by reactionary atheist bros in the early 2010s. He thinks he took the red pill and other people should too in order to protect their self interest against the "hordes".

the shitposts are funny but there are real gems on this site from people who have undertaken serious scholastic or organizing endeavors and share what they've learned (while preserving the greatest degree of anonymity that they can). it's a depressingly low portion of the content and this community definitely gets caught up in the memes at the expense of critical thought - but that those posts exist and the sheer love of the mass of humanity that virtually everyone necessarily brings to this site is what makes our radicalism categorically different from the right.

or said another way - the capitalists need only peaceably hand over the means of production and we will not kill them. we will care for them as much as we would any other person. that is, we welcome bourgeois class traitors. similarly with fascists: if they cease to be fascists we have no quarrel with them and we will again welcome them as potential comrades, after suitable reparations. however, we also understand that these demands will not be met and that these groups sit opposite us, waging class warfare against the greater whole of humanity. to bow to their humanity and to refuse to fight them is a capitulation that will cost all of us our lives because our class enemies do not in turn recognize our humanity.

there is literally nothing I can do to appease a fascist - they demand my life on the basis of immutable factors of my birth that I cannot change. whereas they only need to desist from their projects to build fascism and I am completely satisfied.

I keep hammering on the idea that we don't need to kill people, we need to take power away from people. Jeff Bezos is just some guy with no imagination and too much gear in his system. If he died tomorrow he'd be immediately replaced by someone else who would do exactly the same things Bezos did. Bezos isn't dangerous, the systems that allow him to accumulate massive wealth and power are dangerous. If we can dismantle the systems Bezos and all the rest of them are just guys.

They see things that confirm in their minds the biases they already have, without realizing they were biased. They already have a bunch of ideological beliefs but they have no awareness of ideology, so they think there beliefs are real and natural. Someone comes along selling propaganda, and if the propaganda says when they already believed they think "Hey this guy must be telling the truth" and from there they'll start to believe other things that the propagandist says and eventually you end up watching OAN and nodding along.

We never see any of us going into, say, Harrison Arkansas and attacking people. Yet we're the ones routinely demonized on the more popular, democratized media. We're always the bad guys and these shooters are always painted as the good guys, if not the REAL victims.

Current site is 8kun . top, which I won't provide a link for so as not to send any backlink power their way. They only have traffic because they're considered the "home" of Q, there is basically no interest in them other than for that. They also massage their "currently online" figures by providing the total uniques within the last 72 hours. Then a big, biker looking guy with a vest and a bunch of tattoos comes in, sits that the bar. The Bartender says "Get out." and points at the door. The guys says "Hey I just want a drink, man". The bartender pulls a bat out from behind the bar and says "Get the fuck out, now". The biker shrugs and leaves. The guy sitting at the bar is shocked. The bartender looks at him and says "That guy had a bunch of white power tattoos and patches. They're not obvious but I've seen them before. If I let that guy drink here he'll come back with a couple of his buddies. And they'll come back with a couple of their buddies. And then this will be a nazi bar. transgenderism

they always refer to being trans like it's this sinister ideology and not simply a form of existence. This must be projection since they've turned being pale into a full fledged ideology.
