It seems that Trump supporters were actually correct that Hillary would have started a war with Russia, they weren’t exaggerating. Trump’s election only delayed the Democrats’ plan a couple years
Only thing the Chuds were wrong about was the casus belli for the war. Most thought it would be about Syria, since destablizing and destroying the Middle East seems to be a particularly cruel hobby of Hillary's. I honestly thought that NATO would end up in a war based on Hunter Biden or Don Jr., since failsons starting a war seemed like a sufficiently far out there theory for me to get entertained, just that I had no fucking clue where the war would take place, since any direct confrontation between America / NATO and Russia/China would be suicide, so it'd have to be through proxies.
In the past I might say that not increasing oil drilling and tearing up every environmental regulation under the sun would be enough to be technically better than Trump from a long-term survival point of view... but now Biden is approving record levels of oil drilling and as far as I know hasn't reinstated much of anything. Stimulus checks and not being in a proxy war with Russia looking better and better every day, not gonna lie, even if Trump himself didn't have much to do with those.
His foreign policy is better than Biden depending on where you live. Central America was very mixed with most hating him because we have immigrant families, but there were also some who wanted him to win because it meant he would ignore the region.
I'd say the situation may be different in Asia where he was more aggressive. Biden seems to be a lot more active in Europe and Africa, along with South America. Central America has thankfully been spared and is only getting lectures and US military, but nothing more than usual.
Trump put the screws to Cuba and made the blockade even harsher, presumably pandering to Florida Republicans. Biden sucks of course because he has done nothing to reverse this (including the absolute nonsense about putting Cuba on the "state sponsors of terrorism" list that was done in the final days of the Trump admin just to make a small problem for Biden), but Trump started it.
Good point. Trump was overall pretty incompetent in his attempts to reel in Central American countries like El Salvador and Costa Rica. Even Guatemala pushed back a little on some things. But then you had Bolsonaro in Brazil and the Bolivian coup.
I almost have to wonder at this point if Trump was technically better than Biden. Not that both of them wouldn't get the wall obviously, but fr.
