so they probably shot kids is my guess :elmofire:
The way they phrased their spontaneous denial, that they specifically did not shoot any children, makes me think they shot the teacher. They knew she died as well so they would have just said they didn't shoot anyone or any of the victims. Specifying children is one of those non-admission admissions that make PR demons cum.
There's a clip of a cop on the radio saying "they shot a kid"
https://nitter.net/CNN/status/1531669070696816641
somebody in a uniform shot at least one kid
So in the timeline we have, the shooter crashed his car and started walking towards the school. The SRO returned then, having been called by the cops who had been chasing the shooter, and didn't see the shooter, who was hiding behind cars. Instead, he confronted a teacher who was walking out of the school.
I've been guessing that the cop then shot that teacher.
If they come to arrest you just tell them there's an armed 18 year old shooting kids inside and make them wait.
journalists aren't usually armed even in texas so this threat may be real
I'll subscribe to corporate media IFF some of that money is going towards bodyguards getting into shootouts with cops
lol, so that's what their 40% of the budget S.W.A.T. team is for :surprised-pika:
huh wow when I googled "cops 40%" I didn't get any information about their budget
"Barbara Sterisand will be arrested if she decides to amplify the fact that we definitely shot a few of those kids."
so did we ever get pictures of the shooter's body? :joker-laden:
shooter's body was buried at sea because, uh
you're under arrest for asking questions
Shooter died of a self-inflicted wound in a classroom full of mostly alive children after the horror of what he had done began to dawn on him. When police finally went in and accidentally gunned down two teachers they decided they couldn't leave any witnesses.
That's my cursed and baseless guess.
Edit: Worse, one of the kids spooked a cop and got got. Teacher and other kids WITNESSED it, and were then promptly dealt with.
as much as I absolutely despise the cops and agree with the consensus that their response to this was an utter disaster, I don't think what you said probably happened, as multiple children inside the classroom survived and spoke with the media the next day, saying that the shooter really did shoot a bunch of kids, telling them "it's time to die." This guy was fucked up. He murdered cats and shit and posted it online. Could the kids who survived have really all been coerced into lying? Sure. But I don't think the pigs really executed everyone in the room except a couple of kids. It would have made more sense to finish the job if that were the case. I'm not putting it past cops, I just don't think it lines up with the details.
I think:
- the cops showed up
- rescued their own children first
- corralled the shooter into a classroom
- let him do whatever for an hour
- parents show up
- the cops waste time trying to stop parents
- CBP shows up
- the cops waste time stopping CBP from doing anything
- CBP disobeys pig orders, goes in and kills shooter, maybe kills 1 kid in the hallway who tries to run out, and blames it on the shooter (this one wouldn't have had any witnesses except the shooter)
- kill the shooter (?) who the FBI knew about in advance, as usual
- media circus begins
Oh yeah my prediction is purely just cursed shitposting. God help us if it's even a fraction true. It's actually pretty fucked up to speculate that way but I'm coping with the whole situation with miserable gallows humor.
Boy am I glad the Republicans are sincere about defending the First Amendment.
Shooting 1 kid or a teacher you could get away with. They have to have shot multiple
things are perpetually normal in texas, and they only ever get normal-er with each passing day.
