Its tough to decipher, but if you really dig deep, you can see at least one clear reference to Squid Games
Without killing the contestants, Squid Game is really just the same as any other mid-tier reality or game show.
It's literally just a series of kids' games without death. I mean, I'd have fun playing playground games with a huge group of people, but making this into a reality show is sillym

Stuff like this is why I'm skeptical of lefty media having much value beyond appealing to leftists. It's so easy to just re-appropriate for the capitalists.
Also the message is usually ignored. Told my folks squid game is leftist and they responded as if I had just grown two heads and smoked meth in front of them. There is sadly very little coherent leftist ideology in the US by media design (McCarthy brainworms).
So my folks watched Squid Game and liked it, they also liked Snow Piercer and I'm trying to get them to watch Parasite. However like most of their generation they have this American cultural brainworms hangup, meaning movies don't "mean" anything. Therefore Squid Games is not a leftist reflection focused on capitalism and especially South Korean capitalism even though it's smashed right into your face literally every other second. So their response to any of these assertions is "well I guess that's what YOU take away from the film" even though the director is openly leftist.
That it is a cool series, like that's it. There is no reflection or analysis of it.

I would imagine that show is infinitely more fun than whatever this is gonna end up being. Think I remember a few episodes from when it dropped earlier in the pandemic (not that its hard to guess the premise)
