Hog Gear, a show about hog rearing for war and transport, presented by a troll, an orc and a goblin
They're actually way too into it. Bake-off hooliganism is one of the major social issues that the Shire struggles with
If you’re asking seriously, then yes. It’s literally racist. Your confusing the biological differences between the fictional races and using that to state that culturally they are a) homogenous and b) have completely different and exclusive forms of media.
For eg: Elvish people might have 300 season long soap opera. But will every elvish person want to consume them? Even new-borns? Children? What media do they consume? Are there not elves who go against the dominant culture and create alternative forms of media?
And the soap-operas themselves - how much is that a product of “biology” vs just a result of older elves having entrenched power in elvish society? They are the ones in positions of power - with money, wealth, fame etc and they decide the taste?
An equally, if not more important point is the differences between Elvish cultures, the history of how they interacted and how the cultures themselves changes over time. And this is different from any conversation regarding biological differences between the various types of elves - High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves etc. Don’t confuse the two. High Elves should have cultural and historical differences distinct from their differences with Wood Elves.
I know it gets complicated very easily, and this is just fantasy. And most people don’t want to delve that deeply.
But OP you literally framed it like a question.
And most people don’t want to delve that deeply.
except dwarves
Star Wars is so aggressively racist and cowardly that they constantly invent imaginary races that can't defend themselves and stereotype tf out of all of them.
And then they don't even do anything interesting with the fantasy races. My biggest comlaint with Andor is that everyone is a boring normal human
I don't think it is stating that "every single elf etc watches this tv only."
I think this is arguing that the real issue is the TV monopoly in Middle Earth is only ever churning out shows based on pandering and focus testing, always playing it as safe as possible and the built in audiences have to just either tolerate it or not watch tv at all.
Actually fantasy races can interbreed so they're all just one species with a bunch of incredibly inbred subpopulations.
Its a shame Mythbusters went from cool science and lots of engineering with a small amount of reality TV to mostly reality TV, some engineering(but only if main story) and very little science. One of the most obvious transformation of media due to capitalism I can think of. Even though Adam already talked about the RFID drama it was still not as bad back then.
At least you can still watch Adam's solo YT it is decent.
I knew something became fishy when half the myths became about making huge explosions in the desert
The breaking bad episode is really good though and that's in a later season. They even rig up an automatic machine gun turret like Walt had. It worked exactly as depicted in Breaking Bad, and even shot the Walt mannequin by accident.
Hobbit TV: The Great Bakeoff
Dragon TV: Stock market reports
Vampire TV: PragerU videos
The vampires and necromancers tend to own large property holdings so there is some ovelap there.
Turkish TV is literally the elf stereotype. The Turkish TV dramas are 350+ episodes
pfff, amateurs...

That's what long running soap operas are like. General Hospital has 15,000 episodes. Young and the Restless has 12,500.
Tieflings: Mid tier superhero shows with edgelord protagonists.
Aasimar: Educational content and PSAs.
Kender: The trashiest reality TV you can possibly imagine.
Dragons watch Bloomberg and CNBC
Firbolg watch Bob Ross and gardening shows
Hobbits with a different copyright
If they're the race I'm thinking of, then also a unique view on personal property.
I don't think fairy TV is accurate.
The fae can get up to so much more shenanigans than face swapping.
This poor lumberjack got lost in the woods. So we're going to turn him into a tree, chop off his branches, and turn him back into his original form.
