If this isn't a weird bit, then tbh they're the stupidest person alive. Laws certainly protect landlords and let them get away with an awful lot of shit, but even then they're expected not to openly discuss fraud online where there'a a permanent record of it. It'd be a real shame if someone found out who they were and sent all their tenents screenshots of this.
Or better yet, every tenant should print it out and take it to court claiming it's their landlord.

I've literally had this done to me before, multiple times. Landlords can go get fucked. The Mao treatment is too kind for them, i have my own ideas I won't get into
All I'd do was a vacuum and maybe por bleach down the drains.id hold onto last months rent until my deposit came back too. Don't give them your last rent payment until you get your deposit back.
I mean I've had this deposit theft done to me as a tenant before multiple times so it doesn't matter if it's real or not, this is how landlords behave irl anyway
