The Biden administration has unveiled plans to plant more than 1 billion trees over millions of acres of national forests in an effort to address a reforestation backlog and to fight climate change.
:biden-harbinger: you all claim I have done nothing, here are one billion things :DaBiden:
I’m not sure about building new ones, but they are still increasing the use of coal. But they also claim that most industries will be transitioned to green energy in like 30 years which seems like a long time but it’s a pretty big country
Compare that to the west where politicians are cumming over the thought of using coal and have 0 concrete plans of transitioning, even if it’s just symbolic
it's cool that we can't fight climate change and can only mitigate the consequences
China has planted 78 billion trees since 1981
:deng-smile:
fuck yes. I love that China gets shit done and then moves onto the next project.
