Labor day is soon so we're actually skipping 2 weeks cause we pooled vacation time. Gonna tour some national parks and stay away from people. This came up perfectly for us

Remember kids, join a union. Paid vacations :smalls-unflinching:

what did roger waters even do that got libs so pissed off at him, because this one mega lib friend of mine has been bringing him up every time I put on a pink floyd song for some reason and I just nod along and go "yeah he sucks, but hate the singer not the music" or something to that effect to immediately shift the conversation away

        Roger Waters Hexbear AMA when?

        Edit:

Interviewer: "Thank God the United States got in to WWII"
Water: "Thank God the Russians had already won the bloody war almost by then"

        :stalin-shining:

Also, I feel like I could listen to him talk all day.

He basically made a hexbear comment on CNN

He said there was no Uighur genocide & that the Ukraine conflict is the fault of NATO and the west

Probably not a huge amount and probably just the rich fucks that buy early. I guarantee that for every person that cancels, there will be 6 people waiting to take their place.

If it's "pink floyd" wouldn't it not have roger waters in it or is he back in it

So it's a roger waters concert then though because if it was pink floyd 1) you wouldn't be seeing him and 2) people would be canceling for nothing which is funny lol

As one of two founding members of Pink Floyd still alive, I'd say Roger has as much right to call himself Pink Floyd as anyone.

Yeah but if you're all excited about seeing PINK FLOYD it kinda matters what you're talking about if you want to see Roger Waters because then you might end up disappointed by whoever the other guy is and his pro Ukraine song

Edit: i would say he would have the right to call himself pink floyd though even if everyone else were still alive since iirc he wrote like every album that people commonly know about

Yeah but I don't think most people could name any albums outside of the ones that Roger was involved with. You ask some rando about Pink Floyd and they'll talk about Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, etc. But A Saucerful of Secrets? The Piper at the Gates of Dawn? Nah. They're not on any T Shirts I've ever seen.

Not saying they weren't good or anything but like shit I've never even heard of them before looking up the band's history and I've had the audacity to say they're one of my favorite bands

Kinda like Fleetwood Mac with their early bluesy stuff from before Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined.

I doubt Roger has much interest in playing Bike or See Emily Play in his shows anyway
