Norwegian here, got all the eggs I need.

This is obviously an attempt by the scheming swarthy Sw*des [spit] to slander our objectively superior culture.

I don't know if you saw my other AP post but they said the Pope was "looking strong" and mentioned him giving "marching orders". Something weird is going on over there. In the past I've mentioned how much I like AP's sedated, "just the facts" reporting due to their newswire history. I hope they haven't decided to shake things up. It's a worry they have.

They had an excellent live page for the Gaza war but just ~6 weeks into the fighting they ruined it by crippling the "live" part and removing time stamps. [Ninja edit. I just checked to make more fun of AP but it seems the page is back to normal and worth following.]

it's clunky and awkward, but it does parse

"Norwegians facing a shortage as Easter nears" is the subject, with an extended adjectival phrase

This is very worrying. The average Swede lays just 10 eggs per year. That is not enough to both feed the Norwegians and hatch the next generation of Swedes.

About eggs and Sweden, there is this urban legend in Poland about construction worker that went up to work in Sweden and spent years walling in eggs into building walls as a revenge for Swedish Deluge.

Neighborhood spat but on the level of nation states, that's nuts

Expect more like this as the Second Cold War continues to stress europe's relations.

Russia engineered the Great Norwegian Egg Famine of 2024 to sow discord inside NATO. Putin personally ate all the eggs in Norway with Stalin's comically oversized spoon.

don't be fooled by fakes! Stalin's comically oversized spoon was cast before the trinity tests and thus bears such radiological signature of its time -- the real spoon is currently housed within the ISS, and its earthfall is greatly anticipated by Marxist Astrologists.

Egg eating is the last vestige of the scoundrel. You can pry my eggs from my cold dead hands. (But gently, so they don't crack)
