I love podcasts but my hands need something to do when I'm just at home and have something I want to listen to. My go to game for the least 3 years has been Skater XL because there is no "losing" the game, its just skateboarding, if you beef it you just try it again or do something else

Buddy, you should give the Podcast for Laundry a listen. It's easily one of the best podcasts ever made, and you're only supposed to listen to it while doing laundry. You will have so many clean clothes

Stardew Valley or one of the Subnauticas- but I don't think Subnautica would work for everyone, I use it because I'm so familiar with it
I didn’t finish it, it never captured me the same way the original did. The player character’s monologuing really put me off for one
Fair. I personally enjoyed a lot of the gameplay a lot more than the original (and I already loved the original), but I can understand how that stuff might be off-putting
Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic, the only good city builder. Spending ten hours watching little communist bulldozers erect a nuclear power plant while I listen to John Dolan explain poetry or something is like some weird cure for whatever's wrong in my brain.

Definitely Monster Hunter. If you want to do the endgame quests, you'll need to grind. If you're going to grind, you'll probably want something else in your head besides the battle music and monster sfx
Final Fantasy 14, pretty easy to be doing crafting and gathering shit or running the more boring roulettes while listening to a pod.
I spend so much of my time playing Rocketleague and listening to Trueanon / Chapo. Like way too much.
As soon as the kids get toxic I miss the podcast and have to rewind.
Was it Belias? I never finished tactics because I got soft locked at that boss and then sold the game to a friend for some weed.
Was the run ender for most people unless they did a lot of unnecessary grinding up to that point.
