A huge part of the reactionary mind seems to be constantly preoccupied with the injustice of the possibility that somewhere someone, real or imagined, might be having sex and having fun. They want everyone to be as miserable as they are themselves.
I'd call it protestantism as brainrot, but I seem to remember the french talking about the same issues, and I know for a fact that the same mindset is also a problem in North Africa, so I genuinely don't know where that idiotic obsession comes from.
I don't think this is a protestant thing. I think this has more to do with reactionaries experiencing the consequences of their joyless repressed ideology and feeling envious that people with a more liberated mindset have more fun.
Honestly you're probably right. Still just seems so odd to me to care so much about whether other people are "getting" something you aren't.
Do you think it's the same thing that drives someone like :crowder-nightmare: or :expert-shapiro: to write virginity-columns about other college students drinking and having sex?

It's 2022. She should be accusing him of funding degrees in child grooming.
The lead/follow dynamic of standard ballroom dance replicates patriarchal heteronormativity. We need new forms of dance to address lesbian problems like "whoops we're both bottoms and neither knows how to make an advance."
I yearn to live in this world where Republicans think Biden is a communist with a a deep admiration for lesbian dance theory.
"Uh, how the heck can Joe Biden call "America First" conservatives a threat to democracy with a straight face and a dry diaper?"
You're not supposed to be unironically funny :lenin-rage:
