Man, it's crazy how fast the fight went out of that :frothingfash: crowd when one person shot one of them with one bullet

It's interesting to remember how there were special forces on the scene with orders to shoot to kill in case of a crisis. Imagine the bloodbath if the chuds had any real conviction in their bones.

That would be fucking crazy. That would be a 01/06 that I would take pretty damn seriously as a historic event.

What I found most interesting about it were the lack of weapons. I was under the impression that the American right-wing would be a nightmare because they're loaded with weapons and always talk about using them on people to their left. They had the perfect opportunity to carry out their fantasy and they just didn't.

They're the most coddled people on the planet, they have no idea what serious action looks like and have no concept of consequences happening to them. And tbh that was validated by the fact that they could just waltz in and fuck around like it was a tourist attraction.

I mean if it was anyone else they'd have had enough lead put into them to plumb all of Rome.

I'm pretty sure most of them just got hungry and tired and left after a short while. Think about it. Did anyone see a single gatorade or granola bar in all the footage? Pretty sure most of them just went to Applebee's half way through the ordeal like they just went to see a football boy team game.

They have the most ordinance but they also have the most to lose by using it prematurely. Plus I think the more savvy ones have some vague idea that they and the US government have a common enemy in us.

Couldn't remember, so I decided to look up how many died

Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer as rioters tried to breach the House chamber.

Kevin D. Greeson died of a heart attack, collapsing on the sidewalk west of the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Rosanne Boyland appeared to have been crushed in a stampede of fellow rioters as they surged against the police.

Benjamin Philips, the founder of a pro-Trump website called Trumparoo, died of a stroke.

    And

In the days and weeks after the riot, five police officers who had served at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died.

Two of them are suicides, one's a heart attack that happened the next day. Then, in July, two more DC police committed suicide. Plus, I'm sure we all remember that DC Police knew the protest was going to happen and undermanned it iirc, then the police who were there just let the protestors into the Capitol. And the fucking news has been screeching about it ever since.

Worst, most serious coup anyone's ever seen, folks.

Thinking more about this, I'd be willing to say there were two separate coup attempts. One where Trump called up people and said "So this election thing, maybe we could not do that. Maybe I keep being President," and everyone laughing at him. That's one coup attempt. Then the next is Jan 6, were these stochastic chuds thought they could stop the election by killing Mike Pence or whatever they were doing. But the thing is those actions are so far removed from what could possibly actually coup the fed that it's impossible to take seriously. It's like if toddlers tried to do a coup. It's like Michael Scott shouting "bankruptcy."

successful at what? They barely had a plan cobbled together and I doubt hanging Mike Pence would have somehow made Trump president for eternity. Those goofball rioters would have needed to do a 2019 Bolivia style coup with weeks of civil unrest until law enforcement abandoned their posts and sided with the coup. Instead they're a bunch of coddled yacht dealership owners and uncles with conspiracy brain poisoning from Facebook. In no universe at all were they destined for installing Trump as King America by flipping the national guard or whatever.

also I get really weird vibes from you

The US getting out of Afghanistan was good. The US shouldn't decide who is in charge there, regardless of how shitty the Taliban is.

That [failing] New York Times article leaves out the detail that Rosanne Boyland was carrying a Gadsden flag when she was trampled.

Greeson was the one that someone on Twitter joked about having the heart attack after tazering himself in the balls, and the meme became canon.
