They used active voice in the title at least, even if they are trying to pass it off as """accidental"""

Negligently. It's a crime during the hysteria the New York Times stoked by publishing atrocity porn without any editorial oversight. I've handled several dozen guns and have yet to find one I could accidentally fire. Only willful criminal negligence about the most basic gun safety rules makes a gun go off unintentionally.

You have to be really fucking up to negligent discharge. Guarantee this cop fuckup had his finger in the trigger well while drawing it. Pity he didn't blow his femoral and off his useless self

Guns don't go off accidentally unless it's by a child that doesn't know better.

Cops pretty much always carry Glocks.

Glocks have a trigger safety that prevents them from firing when dropped or otherwise abused but make it very easy to begin firing without thinking.

Cops prefer this setup because they're lazy cruel cowards that want as little between them and filling a kid with bullets as possible.

        But they don't fire accidentally.

I think they went back on that because they were too frustrated at not being able to jump straight to killing people quite as easily.

Or a cop looking to incite violence from panicked protesters that they can later use to justify the "self defence" beatings of the protesters.

You can see the cop pull his hand right by the trigger when it goes off. He's either wearing a holster that doesn't protect the trigger (negligent) or isn't wearing it correctly (negligent).

This gun has numerous reports of going off, and also had a redesign because it would go off when dropped as well. I don't think he touched it at all. It's a shit gun.

Now I'm not saying that's definitely the case with this gun but it's worth knowing about this as it will come up every time this happens in future.

If I accidentally broke the office coffee pot I might get fired. Insane that the best police officer gets to have 1000 infractions that would get the average employee fired anywhere else. Literally our worst and dimmest

The gun had an accident. The gun made a mistake. The gun fired itself in a situation where a gun shouldn't be firing itself.

Once again, another school shooter surrounded by police that did nothing... shakingmydamnhead.gif

The sergeant had broken the glass of a locked office on the first floor of the building and switched his firearm — a 9-millimeter handgun with a flashlight mounted on it — from his right hand to his left hand to reach through the broken glass to unlock the door from the inside...

Also... HAHA... cop did a vandalism before doing a school shooting.

I'm all for an individuals right to carry.

As long as you're not a cop. They're the last people who should be armed.
