Literally just the equivalent of blood libel against Arabs, that they have an ancient fundamental desire to murder Jews.

Liberals have never had a problem with blood libel, they just think it was directed at the wrong people in the past.

This goes much deeper than most think. Even when liberals are trying to make points that are pro feminist, anti racist, pro LGBT, anti sexist, etc, they just straight up copy right wing or fascist talking points and change the target. For example, ever seen the posts by liberals comparing men to skittles, of which some are poisonous, to try make a feminist point about women feeling unsafe?

        Show

It was originally a Trump Jr tweet.

This is yet another difference between liberal and leftist rhetoric, and the difference between liberal identity politics and left wing equality and social justice. Leftists actually attempt to address systemic issues and inequalities in society, liberals do window dressing of right wing rhetoric to try and make some kind of point, and fail. This is why tying social justice wins to liberal institutions like the Democratic party in the United States is doomed to fail, like it already has with abortion rights. Because liberals fundamentally do not care about these issues. The Democrats are feeding from the same trough as the Republicans in terms of rhetoric and policy. It should come as no surprise when the Democrats abandon and fail to fight for social justice.

Liberals are willing to crack skulls over the persecution complex of white college students (the “antisemitism” angle, I think, is just a cover for them to spout “anti-white racism in college” talking points. I mean, you expect me to believe white frat boys are suddenly overwhelmed with concern for Jewish students after having their fifth Nazi scandal of the year?) but go “aww shucks we can’t do nothing try again in 50 years” when it comes to actually existing discrimination.

When liberals actually care about a certain group - white students, they are perfectly capable of mobilizing for that cause. They don’t care about POC. This why they can spew concern trolling bullshit about antisemitism out one side of their mouths and genocidal Hitlerian anti-Arab racism out the other. Replace every instance of “antisemitism” with “anti-white racism” and you’ll see their true colors.

The entire campus antisemitism scare is because liberals are vile racists. It’s not about concern for Jewish students, it’s about hatred for uppity POC.

Yeah, as I explained in the original comment, even when liberals are trying to make socially progressive points, they just copy right wing rhetoric and change the subject. You've picked up on a great example here. Actually being against anti semitism should be a good thing. Everyone should be against anti semitism at a bare minimum. But what the liberals have done instead, is they've taken the talking points about "anti white racism" from the right, and just replaced it with "anti semitism" like you said. Instead of actually being against anti semitism. This is because Israel is a settler colonial project (which is why recycling the right wing propaganda about anti white racism works so well), and because actually being against anti semitism would mean being critical of Israel. I mean, it is very discriminatory to associate every follower of a religion, or member of an ethnic group, with a country that claims to represent them. Assuming all Jews agree with Israel's actions is anti semitic in of itself.

The entire campus antisemitism scare is because liberals are vile racists.

This encompasses a lot of liberal feminists, anti racists, LGBT activists, etc as well. They don't see Palestinian women as equals, they don't see Arab Palestinians as equals, they don't see LGBT Palestinians as equals. In their Eurocentric worldview, Palestinians do not matter. As someone else on hexbear once said, white supremacy and Eurocentrism is the black hole of liberalism. Initially you don't know that it's there, but everything orbits around it, and eventually gets sucked into it.

That, but I also think there’s some sort of topsy turvy logic wherein modern Palestinian liberation movements are somehow a direct continuation of the Roman Empire. Like there’s a straight line from Pontius Pilate to Hamas.

Hamas wants to kill illegal genocidal settlers, many of which happen to be Jews. But thanks for implying that all Jews are genocidal settlers, real pro-Semitic of you Joe.

Like the Hindu nationalists, it’s not about loving Jews, it’s about hating Muslims.

A few years ago a christian organisation in US did a poll on how aware the christian population was on the church's teachings or something like that. MoBlack (anarchist-communist anime blogger that wrote many Medium articles breaking apart Shield Hero) pointed out that while people generally answered questions regarding sex and abortion 'correctly' (as in they were aware of the church's stance), when it came to things like "are children born innocent" (correct answer: No. All children are born with original sin because Adam and Eve ate the fruit.) only like 30% could match the church's stance.
The conclusion he came to was that the super religious people are not actually super religious. They are just very political about their religion.

According to my Sunday and catholic schools babies that die before baptism go to Limbo which is not as bad as hell but also not heaven. If a baby is about to die and there are no priests nearby you are allowed to do an emergency baptism so that they go to heaven.

Yeah when I heard that... crazy they let this man speak openly still.

His logic is quite literally (and to be kinda fair this is also Israeli logic and since they've been in a 69 suckfest I guess it makes sense he repeats this Nazi shit) that all Muslims hate Jews (why? He'll never have an answer or evidence for that) and Hamas is just the modern militant arm of a Muslim tradition of genociding Jews.

It seems ol' Joey's pudding brain never learned that it was Christian men who killed 6 million Jews in Europe... not Muslims. He's basically engaging in a form of Holocaust revisionism which is a form of Holocaust denialism... while speaking Holocaust Remembrance Day.

I mean, Goddamn Joey. Maybe it's time to go to sit in the recliner, let the flashing lights flicker on the moving picture box, pick chocolate or vanilla pudding for a snack today, and drift off.

It’s an example of the background radiation of evangelical Christianity poisoning Americans’ brains - even those diametrically opposed to Christianity. Jews and Arabs have always fought because that’s what the Old Testament is all about and the Old Testament is literal historical truth.

Does Jews and Arabs even fight that much in the Old Testament? I remember it's mostly Canaanites and then whomever happen to have an empire nearby.

We're going to see the most vile and vicious Islamophobic propaganda since 9/11 this US election cycle, aren't we? How long before the Democrats and Biden run though George W Bush's list of talking points? I'm waiting for Biden to tell Israelis to go out shopping in remembrance of October 7.

At the risk of sounding like Tom Friedman, Trump has one policy ace up his sleeve: Netanyahu listens to him and he knows it. Maybe Trump is serious about cutting foreign aid, maybe he isn't it doesn't matter. But Bibi knows he's more of a wildcard than Biden is.
