its social malpractice to hear someone say that to you & not :jesse-wtf:

I agree 100% in principle, but it seems mean to pick on the VP. Media should be putting pressure on people who have real power and influence.

i think anyone important enough to be invited to tv (not apply for it like in shitty reality tv or be found on the street) deserves to be bullied :eric-andre:

I was just taking a backhanded swipe at Harris for being a useless clown. She shouldn't even be on TV; they should put her in a literal dunk tank outside the Capitol Building eight hours a day.

The saddest part will be when the initial fad dies down and the crowds dissipates because listening to a benzo-wine clown babble incoherently becomes a cognito hazard after a while. She just sits there, laughing at her own musings for 12 hours a day, and people try not to make eye contact as they pass by.

When we're talking about these things, we have to be careful. The thing is, there's a lot of moving parts to this whole situation, and we can't just be looking at it from one angle; we have to be multifaceted. We have think about the big picture, but also the little picture in case things go wrong. We are going to be on top of this and address the issues, but we can’t not look at all the issues before we address them. It's a delicate dance, we are balancing regulation and innovation, but that's the job we've been tasked with, and for the American people we're going to do it the best we can.

"The concerns brought forward in this case are very concerning. As a society we should be moving forward, not moving backward. I call on the judge to deliver the maximum sentence to this man for his many marijuana dealing offenses."

That was one of the few times when Colbert was (unintentionally) funny. I remember when he announced live to his audience that Trump just fired James Comey. The audience cheered, because they were told by Hillary Clinton that Comey is responsible for Hillary's loss and he might be working for the Russians. Colbert responded by saying "big Trump fans here today" and the audience started booing and they loved Comey from that moment forward. Just absolute pigs.
