the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry

It's been played out for decades. Mainstream folks really need to try some new drugs.

A friend of mine is convinced that I'm straight edge for whatever reason and he'll often be like "oh right you don't drink beer/coffee". Several times I had the drink he mentioned in my hand.

Getting flashbacks of dudes in tank top band tees and snap backs getting into arguments about drinking alcohol and being vegan. I just wanted to hardcore dance ffs

Noooo. Coffee addiction is one of the few industries that allows Guatemala to be top dog of Central America. Let us have this.

"chuck wendig is the guy who wrote the star wars fart wedding" is a sentence that is based in material reality and makes sense with context

    cromulent means adequate or acceptable
why do internet weirdos insist on using arcane words they don't know the meaning of
it doesn't make them look smart when they use it wrong

The only thing I know about Wendig (other than that he wrote a Star Wars novel that I thought was boring) is that when he was working as a freelance writer for marvel comics (I think mostly on their Star Wars comics) he did a tweet where he said he hoped Mitch McConnell choked to death or something like that, there was a minor shitstorm as conservatives on the internet called for his head and pretended like he was threatening death on all Republicans in the country, then he got fired from Marvel. Afterwards he went on a tirade like "TRUMP IS SECRETLY IN CONTROL OF MARVEL COMICS. ALL MY BOSSES AT MARVEL ARE CLOSET FASCISTS. I AM A POLITICAL PRISONER." And it was all fairly amusing.

I haven't kept up with him and the IA stuff. I know he tried to do damage control and insist he was always for the internet archive, actually, which seemed like a lie.

he also wrote some of the most mediocre parts of several White Wolf RPG rulebooks, including as one of the main designer of Geist: The Sin Eaters. Which was a release so terrible and White Wolf had to hire a bunch of freelance editors to fix it to help with its poor sales. Normally the publisher doesn't do that, they just release a new edition, but they made a special exception for this one.

no idea, but a quick glance at his bio shows he grew up in New Hope, Pennsylvania where the median family income is $173,750. Then he went to college at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina, which is a private university with a yearly tuition cost of $40k.

i hope this is enough information to reveal why he's had such a charmed life
