Between this, the possible digital patriot act, crushing unions, making the war in Ukraine even worse, failing to do anything about the mounting widespread industrial failure, continued draconian immigration policy, intentionally causing a recession, Roe V. Wade being overturned, and getting easily bowled over on the student debt cancellation I think we can all agree we'll look back in ten years and say "the Biden admin was the most progressive admin in US history." He's really the man you want in charge during a crisis.

In five million years, the archeologists of the distant descendants of the cocroaches will unearth our cities, click their mandibles in confusion, and ask a common question.

They said it would be like the New Deal era social democrats, but Biden is like Alexander Kerensky era social democrats.

Don’t forget climate catastrophes which may be significantly worse locally depending on your environmental conditions!

This + the anti tiktok legislation + the states outlawing state travel for abortion is making me feel like we are rapidly approaching the Cool Zone faster than expected.

if people can get preventative care (cheap) for free, they won't need to purchase curative care (expensive) later

Actually sweaty democracy is when a single unelected official can negatively impact the lives of millions of people based on their own personal interpretation of a document written by slavers over 200 years ago, which was also written expressly to empower the bourgeoisie and enshrine unjust class structures

At least there's, like, 3 libs in the replies openly calling for ignoring the judiciary? Maybe a few people might radicalize?

Being trapped inside a machine bleeding to death is not much fun.

:frothingfash: What, you hate freedom? You hate America? I'll have you know I tortured innocent Iraqi civilians for corporations' right to indirectly kill you by withholding lifesaving care to maximize share-holder profits!

Insurance companies would hate providing care to the younger generation. They bank on young people paying $12k a year on insurance and never use it. If young people went to the doctor more often, they may end up seeing treatment for all sorts of stuff!

Hmm, what possible consequences could there be to making PrEP less accessible during a pandemic? 🤔
