I mean the original tweet is still implying NK bad. It's a "what are we, a bunch of asians?" type post. Twittlords couldn't even handle that.

England repeats a 1200 year old tradition that celebrates a literal monarchy

Wow I can’t believe we’ve become just like those fucking Asians and their supreme dictators :so-true:

The difference is that the DPRK isn't responsible for the death of at least 150 million people.

:so-true: ummm sorry sweaty, check the facts, DPRK literally killed their entire population, resurrected them, and killed them again, doubling their killcounts. They have easily killed more people than the entire population of the human race throughout history, it's true.

I have proven this by stating that it's a fact.

They somehow starve the entire population within an inch of their life but have been doing this with a growing population since atleast 1990

So the poor citizens of North Koreans are forced by gunpoint to attend the rally while Anglos are so domesticated and brainwashed they would attend the rally willingly? Isn't that even worse lmao

King Charles will execute your entire family back home in the UK if he finds out you said that. You're very brave for speaking out.

I heard this story about a british defector, they tried to escape to europe by swimming across the channel, then north to the freezing waters of iceland, then south to belgium, to avoid the military loyal to the king in their big bearskin hats. when they arrived in belgium they had to bribe the belgian guards with 500 pieces of toast (3x the annual wage in the UK) but the guards demanded 1000 pieces of toast, the defector had to give him his usb full of "parnagraphy" (highly sought-after illegal contraband in the monarchies of UK and europe) and make a dash for the free republic of Hungary, where they arrived two years later and were recieved with open arms. source: CGTN

Twitter has become an Elon Musk cult of personality propagation device. Only a bunch of blue check reply guys with stupid takes in the replies. Someone needs to replace Twitter fast.

It's turned into a regular rodeo hoedown of fascists and assorted reactionaries getting their tweets boosted because they game the system by paying $8 and Musk is the ringleader of the circus finally getting his own personal army of racist reply guys to like his racism.

Even if you believe the lib fantasies that everyone in the DPRK is forced to do a song and dance by military people, couldn't you at least see how many people there are? If there were truly that level of massive social discontent that everyone has to be forced to do parades or whatever, the DPRK would be in a constant state of urban warfare. The DPRK has a population of 26 million and a military size of 900,000.

This is just racism, isn't it? Some belief that Asian people are naturally submissive and pliant. Liberals think the DPRK is literally the movie Equilibrium where Christian Bale will come to your house and do kungfu gunfighting if you're caught listening to Mozart

the DPRK would be in a constant state of urban warfare

Unlike in the UK, where everyone is free to express their views on the monarchy, all dissidents in NK are instantly vaporized and then tortured to death and fed to dogs, after which their families are billed for the bullet.

This has created an entire culture that is psychologically conditioned to accept all forms of compulsory service and institutional misery. And if you don't like that explanation, you can leave. Simple As.

the DPRK is simultaneously somehow an impoverished nation that can't keep its electricity active at night, and yet it also has a widespread mind control system that reduces any person to a pile of red goop if they forget to polish their home's mandatory golden bust of Kim Jong-Il

Of course the liberal idea of what north korea is is insane. If it was like that their kids wouldnt be able to beat all of western europe in mathemathics (i think russia does better than them overall and some ex soviet nations like rumania do better per capita but not western europe). I would even argie nk is the only coutry that has been consistently rigth.

That being said a small organised minority can control a much larger population through the use of organized violence. Theke medieval england for example there were almost always under 2000 knigths and between 300 and 200 landed gentry. Ruling over a population of between 2 and 6 million. Its entierly viable to have a toalitarian state when 1 in 26 are part of the states machinery of opression.

Well there's probably a distinction in coercing a population to adopt an exploitative economic situation and coercing them into doing giant parades or performative displays of patriotism. Medieval England also had a huge peasant class who more or less tolerated the economic situation except in instances of things like widespread poverty, recruitment campaigns into the military, famine, or political upheaval that typically took the presentation of religious zeal.

I think what I'm imagining is that the DPRK would look more like Israel if it were what libs think it is. Frequent violent skirmishes, frequent instances of military shooting civilians, and some kind of enforced segregation or movement restriction on large sectors of the population. Or it would look like South Africa in the 1970s, or Ireland, or Pinochet's Chile. But it's not like that. There's no serious widespread civilian aggression or resistance that I know about. There are probably some underground, scattered anti-government forces, but those exist in every country. So I could only see a liberal coming to the conclusion that people in the DPRK are simply docile past the point of what's normal, if literally none of them offer the slightest bit of resistance to being forced to do a parade against their will.

Medieval England could only work that way because almost all of the people being oppressed were rural illiterate subsistence farmers. They also weren't forcing thousands of these people to do parade marching for the king.
