This is hilarious :antelope-popcorn:

Best response from some random blue-check:

Ken, please stop. This isn’t journalism. Before today I thought anything approaching humiliating staff by publicly blaming them for their boss’ choice would be beneath you. Hill comms folks should remember this moment when he reaches out to you in the future.

This is great though, all these sickos could, if nothing else, resign in protest for her being such a decrepit old ghoul.

:party-sicko: at the cope from people saying this isn't great stuff.

Also, another great post from Ken:

My mentions are a torrent of full suit avis screaming at me about how 20-something Princeton grads are downtrodden workers who are just following orders

Edit, another amazing blue check

Today is the day that Ken Klippenstein went full MAGA.

By this argument, should all of RBG's former staff be black balled and publicly shamed for not pushing her out sooner?

You ever notice that libs do that a lot? Dare to criticize them from the left and they immediately accuse you of being a Trump supporter.

Do they really believe this? Probably not (but hell, maybe). What they are doing is signalling to others that taking this stance makes you part of the Outgroup, you should be shunned and cast out, probably banned if they had the power to do so.

There are a HELL of a lot of people in this country who genuinely think politics is a two dimensional spectrum which ranges from liberal to liberal but kinda racist.

"I'm as far left as they come, but you gotta admit that privatization does a lot of good" - a person I made up, but you know it's been said earnestly by SOMEONE on twitter.

Hahaha, literally my dad to me today. "So you think Trump would be better?" No dad, I don't. Come on now

That's another thing. The idealist kernel of Liberalism makes it impossible to talk to people about this shit. These people believe the world is sculpted by ideas. Every time you take a critical glance at their presuppositions, they think you're fucking electioneering.

This is exactly what we should be doing, shit,

I have a TikTok video ready to go, just gotta throw the words on it, it's the Lord of the Rings scene with the shady guy whispering into the decrepit king's ear, except the king is "Diane Feinstein" and the whispering guy is "Office of Sen. Diane Feinstein Chief of Staff James Sauls"

Gandalf throws off his grey robes, turning from Dementia into Shingles

The funniest part is that she's the Senator from California. Like the Governor will replace her with another Dem in seconds

fr tho the best job a millennial can possibly get is doing mild tech work for a barely-attentive boomer. I wouldn't hesitate one second to take an $80k/year job answering emails and updating Adobe Acrobat.

I can't wait for Joe Biden's 90 year old ass to start talking about chocolate malts while right wing death squads are shooting up public spaces. :deeper-sadness:

These staffers are like John Mayer, Warren Haynes, Dereck Trucks. Entirely capable of leading their own band playing minor gigs, but comfortable getting rich off of someone else’s songs while they have the spotlight.

Thanks for posting this. I have been having way too much fun on that thread. Mostly dunking on the poor oppressed souls standing up for those working class stiffs who make $80k/year and who went to the correct schools so as to get to work for a standing US Senator.

They really think they're being punched down on. They are in the upper 0.001% of the powerful in America. They are so high up, there are very few people who can punch down on them.

These poor kids, working class, who pulled themselves up by their bootstraps to make it into one of the most powerful offices in DC. They only make $80k/year! And they only have the ear of a senior senator who is demented and easily have decisions issued in her name!
