There was some comment about this here recently, and it made me realize that I’ve only driven with libs (as far as I know). I’m missing out on this vital human experience and everyone here needs to fill me in immediately.

I would not be shocked if the wife was lowkey cheating on him as payback.

Then again, he sounds like the type to commit murder if he ever found out, so maybe she doesn't risk it.

yeah as much as it's fun to imagine that all these awful people's values are actually being undermined as we speak, the reality is that this sort of brainwashing and abuse works. it worked for thousands of years and in the right conditions it still works. lots of people are still trapped in those situations, much too scared to rebel.

I knew a chud with a non verbal autistic son who the chud was trying to train like a dog, some kind of "therapy" called Autistic Behaviour Analysis or ABA.

His son would (very understandably) respond to this mistreatment by hurting himself and other people.

The chud also rode with an unlocked glock in the side door cup holder "for when I go into Portland where the homeless crazies are."

I had to accompany this dude as part of my social work position at the time and every time the kid flipped out I would just pray he didn't reach for the pistol. Usually he'd just slam his head into me or the door but the thought was always in the back of my mind.

The kid was also clearly gay, but one of his dad's favorite topics was "the normalization of homosexuality since Barak Hussein Obama" and would go on long pro Trump anti aoc, anti wheeler rants in the car.

So, so, so glad to be doing something else now

There are so many job openings for aba in my area. They pay well and provide benefits too. Everything I've heard about it sickens me though

some kind of “therapy” called Autistic Behaviour Analysis or ABA

Assimilationist garbage pushed by genocidal “activist group” Autism Speaks. It literally just trains autistic kids through conditioning to not outwardly react to harmful stimulus. The material on your shirt makes your skin hurt? Time to wear that shirt over and over again to practice not allowing people to see your discomfort. You don’t have any safe foods to eat? Time to practice eating unsafe foods and repressing your gag reflex. Oh you’re 5 years old? You can handle 40 hours of therapy a week, right?

Guess it beats being placed on a hot shovel as a baby to prove you’re not a fae imposter. Would be cool if we could stop killing autistic children altogether, but I know at this point when I’m asking too much of people.

Driving with my grandpa on a two-hour round-trip drive and he starts talking to my uncle about how Democrats all need to be “taken out back and shot”. Really glad I agreed to help clean out that storage unit, Uncle Aaron. Thanks.

I've been forced to sit in the car with chuds that were so :frothingfash: that they'd scream at what they perceived as (minority slurs) on the road because they didn't like how they drived... and they'd scream with the window up. Because they were that brave and terrified of those (minority slurs) hearing them. :scared-fash:

Different ones I've been a passenger to have preferred different outlets for their road rage

One would just angrily talk/shout about how every other driver is stupid, which was my least-dreaded driver

One was very typical road rage - drives aggressively, instantly indignant at any setback, and always punitively riding somebody's bumper

But my least favorite in terms of hating to ride with them? He drove pretty safely, but he would act morally offended at having to see poor people. Not offended that people are degraded in a way that he finds so ugly, no. He was vocally and constantly offended that they "chose" to live like that and were visible

I remember when I was using doing navigation in the passenger seat on the way to some family outing. I got us on what was the quickest route but my Dad was unhappy. He became visibly uncomfortable and said he didnt want to be going through a low income area.

Ive never stopped judging him for that. Hes done similar things since. Also yes, it was a black community and we are white

I regret to say that some of my friends are chuds (not textbook chuds because they’re pretty anti-trump) but it’s a flavor of liberalism that I detest

I have to pretend to be religious around them because they still shit on agnostics/atheists extremely hard and act like only a fool wouldn’t believe in a higher power

"Haha just joking... unless" is a very effective propaganda method. Those that claim otherwise are often more susceptible to it.

If you're in a car full of chuds, just joking in a leftist way might be very dangerous.

I'm not gonna ruin my weekend by writing a several thousand word essay recounting my riding with rightwingers experiences.

All I'll say is that I'm happy to see I'm not the only person who's dealt with someone being afraid of going to Portland (@Nagarjuna). Clearly, the fascist mind is a reflection of a superior strength I could never hope to achieve. It's definitely not someone crippled by fear and insecurity.

I learned to drive when I was 18, so I did ten hours of driving lessons with this very normal looking white guy. At that time in my life, I didn't have any older males to look up to, or even talk to. (Jesus fucking Christ my poor dad is emotionally stunted.) Anyhow, him and I hit it off and we talk life, girls, dreams, friends throughout the whole course.

On the very last day, local politics come up, and he says that he can't stand "n-slur lover [local politician]". The rest of the day was super awkward after that.

I was on a remote clean up job where I had to share a room with my racist coworker who started ranting after seeing a muslim woman with a headscarf.

He was adamant that Muslims had a sixth toe and that's why they have to wear sandals.

Luckily, I had smuggled in a 7-up bottle with vodka, and drowned out his conspiracy theories with the numb bliss of alcohol.

He was adamant that Muslims had a sixth toe and that’s why they have to wear sandals.

You'd think this would just correct itself literally the first time he saw a Muslim with or without sandals on
