Basically, make it so people have reasons other than identity to protect you and your interests. We’re not gonna stop fascism from growing in the US. Its material base is forming quickly and is largely a matter of power struggles within the Republican Party and between various billions and corporations.
Killing one of their leaders right now might be the lynchpin on the whole thing going mask-off genocidal from the people who actually have power to establish camps. We just don’t have the organization to pull of shit like that. So organizing locally is, as always, the answer.
Edit: Also, I don’t wanna dismiss that the US is already fascist and has already had people in camps. We’re just entering a different phase in the same process.
