The capitalist class has already conditioned people to be traumatized by the idea of pandemic prevention methods by their handling of COVID

This new bird flu will not be contained and will be allowed to spread unchecked. It can be spread by the pigeons on your street, and the poorly prepared fast food chicken slop treats that capitalist countries love.

And COVID is still here killing people.

This is going to be the new normal for a capitalism dominated world. As the environment crumbles we are going to see pandemic after pandemic as animal populations succumb the the stress of environmental degradation and new diseases emerge.

And with each new variant of disease our bodies are left damaged and more susceptible.

Disease compounding on top of disease.

Welcome to your capitalist utopia.

Every day is a constant reminder that they mean every word of “better dead than red”.

To them, humans going extinct is worth it if it means that no rule applies to them or any other bourgeoisie.

If it's inevitable then why should I panic? I gain nothing from being very sad and frustrated while dying.

i just hope the disruption destabilizes the order enough to allow the global south to get free

the rest of us will have to hold out mad max style, in communal compounds as fascist civil wars and purges rage in our broken, depopulated nations until we finally see the first PLA IFVs roll in and know things are looking up again

This is what I think is most likely to happen yes, and lots of disabled and medically vulnerable people like me are going to be the first on the chopping block. I see no other trajectory the way things are going. Call me a doomer but, well, this is the com for it. I will do all I can to survive (or escape, don’t @ me) but they’re not exactly making it easy for me or anyone else.

you unironically believe in "anti-white racism"

also history didn't start in 2022, but you'd have to possess a modicum of sentience to know that

It’s not war mongering to send depleted uranium and downplay a country’s nuclear capabilities because of their Slavic brainpan

You acknowledge the intent to ethnically cleanse Donbass and then advertise the effectiveness of the Russian intervention in the civil war, lmao you fuckin dipshit you don't even recognize half the shit you're implying

If that was true then why did you get mad that someone mentioned NATO escalation, which they objectively are doing? Go suck nato off somewhere else.

That's because they just want to use the Ukrainians as pawns to either grind down the Russian army or at least stress test it to better calibrate their war plans. Members of Congress have literally gloated about this on television: killing Russians on the cheap. It was a plot in that sense. Or at least guided to that outcome once the opportunity became apparent.

And it all seems insane to me because the world hegemon is escalating conflicts around the world with its near peer rivals in an attempt to preserve its unpopular order during a moment when we need international cooperation the most to deal with the unfolding polycrisis caused by anthropogenic climate change.

How does it feel to inherit all the clueless and ahistorical talking points of every war criminal since NATO's intentional killing of 25% of Korea's population

The organization that proudly invented the shock doctrine as official policy for collective punishment through starvation and mass murdering through death squads in order to leave the remaining population too traumatized to socialize and decolonize.

Bleach demons will literally look at the mass terror killings from Korea 1950 to Gaza 2024 and still insist NATO is "peaceful" rather than a genocidal international colonial police.

            countdown

I'm sure it will be fine. It's not like we let every single human on the planet get infected multiple times with a disease that directly damages the immune system.

The amount of birds already dying is on a different scale, I guess it doesn’t matter to non-vegans but billions of birds have been culled because of this virus and billions more will be culled. And not to forget the wild birds, dying in larger quantities with each outbreak.

Oh I thought you were talking about climate change and how every country in the west is already building concentration camps for when hundreds of millions of people can no longer live where they were born. Carry on I guess.

covid killed seven million people. maybe the bird flu will kill twice as many. climate change is going to kill hundreds that.

of course i care about both things, but if you want to be doing doomposting i see no reason to limit yourself to the little doom in front of you when the largest possible doom is right around the corner. certainly isn't like climate change is going to make pandemics less likely

A lot of people are in need of saving

The capitalist ruling class has abdicated responsibility and will to enact pandemic prevention methods after their mishandling of COVID. This new bird flu will not be contained and allowed to spread. It can spread from pigeons and chicken fed to you. And Covid is still killing people. This cannot be allowed to continue. We do not have to let this be the new normal. As the environment crumbles, we are going to see an increase in zoonotic diseases as more animals come in contact with human populations. Each new disease leaving us more vulnerable. Do you accept this dystopia? What is there to be done? But be the adults in the room. Provide the mutual aid to help those in need. Take control. If there is a time to join an org and become more militant, this is the time.
