Do we yet know the answers?

Yeah, dude. As long as you avoid right wing propagandists, the answers are actually pretty clear and abundant.

Because willful ignorance is not an excuse for bigotry. All you have to do is read modern biologys consensus on it to understand why 'fairness in sports' when talking about trans women is a sleazy dogwhistle.

I wonder why chuds always want to 'ask questions' on a very public platform instead of doing actual research. Oh thats right, it's because you want to spread your bullshit propaganda, not learn. I have zero patience for these fuckers.

It's pretty telling that this person who both supports trans people yet has questions about whether they should be allowed to play sport doesn't exist and never has.

people who are genuinely in that position (hi, i was one over a decade ago) quickly learn that having heavier bones and weaker muscles more often puts trans women at a disadvantage and don't JAQoff about the "question" in public because there's nothing to discuss, only transphobes to shout down and comrades to support.

Agree, if you support trans people, you’ll very quickly realise the sport argument paper thin and any amount of good faith research would reveal that. Hence why these people don’t exist (or to be more precise, they don’t exist for very long).

Then he got testicular cancer from all the hormones and had to get an orchidectomy. He cheated so hard that they had to take his balls off and now he just assumes that other people who take hormones and get their balls removed may be similarly massive cheats as him, even when these hormones demonstrably have the effect of making your really suck at sports that aren't Super Smash Bros.

making your really suck at sports that aren't Super Smash Bros.

the intrusive thought of someone doping with hormones to get better at Smash

"I'm only doing HRT and living as a transbian fox girl full-time to get a competitive advantage, i'm still totally cis!"

There is a strong possibility that every single trans athlete who has ever competed in American sports have not collectively ingested as many hormone altering compounds as this one man.

I'm so sick of the "just asking questions" about trans atheletes. If you genuinely want to know, look it up. You'll have your answer, the science is already there. These people don't want answers. If Joe Rogan and his ilk wanted answers as much as they want to ask questions they could be experts on this by now

I've said it here before, they ask the question repeatedly until the answer they want to hear, is the only thing that's acceptable to say. Because by asking the question and treating this like it's still in contention, they can cast doubt on the science, they can make people believe that there's more nuance to it.

The fact that some cis women are already being excluded for having too much testosterone and are just born like that should dispel any notion that fairness has anything to do with anything, it's just predjudice at that point and it always has been, basically Hitlerian definitions on who is a woman

Coming from a guy who got caught red handed cheating at his sport of choice, it really is staggering. Just zero self-awareness. Its like reading a post from OJ Simpson about the credibility of DNA evidence.

Somebody in the comments posted an article or something about how years of transitioning wouldn't remove the "natural advantages" of transwomen. Meanwhile everything I've read seems to suggest that transwomen may actually end up disadvantaged when compared to cis women in sports. Maybe that's over simplifying it, but that's what I've gleamed from it, and it just seems like a little more in depth research would shut these types up, if they actually cared about the facts in the first place. Which, of course, they don't.

yeah I hope you like trying to move extra bone mass with less muscle mass. maybe that's good for some really specific luge variant.
