i consider myself a liberal, but if the cheeto refuses to leave office? well, that leave us no choice. we're gonna have to arm ourselves—with a pen and a voting slip—and aggressively march to the voting booths in the 2022 midterm elections

doing something violates the non-aggression principle, and as we all know, aggression is violence, and doing a violence makes you the bad guy.

this is why i, an independant voter who judges in good faith based on the merits of policy, will never vote for these violent democrats

I mean, that's what they did when there was a coup during the 2000 election. Don't let anyone ever tell you that it wasn't a coup as well, Gore won the popular vote in Florida, they just never counted the ballots.

I know liberals as a group are largely made up of condescending scolds with unexamined imperialist tendencies, but some of them are little baby leftists who just need the right conditions to hatch. Besides, few things radicalize good faith libs like getting tear gassed.

Getting tear gassed for just standing there doing literally nothing at all radicalises anyone. Don't even need to be borderline left, watch how fucking fast even strong liberals change their tune when they actually experience how bad things are.

The problem with the vast majority of them is that they have zero fundamental experience with the state at all beyond their sheltered privilege. When they get exposed beyond that their entire world cracks. I've seen big liberals swing hard really fucking fast when they experience actual violent repression for no good reason whatsoever. They realise everything we say is true and that actually protesters aren't violent and it is the police that instigates it nearly every time. Their whole tune changes.

I mean, if that happens we're talking about an actual, immediate civil war so "mobilizing with the libs" is kind of the least of our problems at that point.

It's probably the only thing I can imagine could get them to drop the peaceful protest horseshit

Start asking them now. "What are you going to do if Trump refuses to leave office, or if the election is obviously rigged?" "If you dont personally do X, would you support someone who does?"

The only way I could imagine them mobilizing is if he just outright suspends the election

Libs aren’t going to mobilize. They’ll stay home and tweet about how violence is wrong.

The "libs" that sign up to fight trump might be amenable to our beliefs. Could be a popular front type of situation
