Their MO is to make you feel disempowered so you don't vote, participate, or voice your opinion. There's too much hate, my brothers, sisters, and nonbinary kin.

Hopefully we all come out of this struggle session as better and more knowledgeable.

I hate to break it to you, but it's called being terminally online with no real-life outlet for your politics because the best you have is the DSA

American leftists doesn't need fascists to bicker like petty suburbanites amongst themselves

It doesn't help the site was fine for a while but a few days ago people start making "why are you bullying anarchists?" threads without any link to an example of it. It feels like the JK spam or the same few people from the discord trying to stir up drama. And every new thread about it is just the same shit of people accusing one group of talking shit with no proof. Either screencap the shit and let the mods handle it or fuck off. Yes the ML/A thing happens, and it happens in every online leftists space. But people shouldn't be posting 40 paragraph threads about how someone dissed them without a single screenshot.

right, for every instance where this arguably happened, there are like 10 of people complaining about it

It was an influx of people from the genz anarchy sub after they got banned. Literal anarkiddies storming the gates after one of the mods decided they were ML and banned everyone.

Could have been a child brigade, but it definitely coencided with that event.

100%. There's definitely some mental health, substance abuse, and sociopathological tendencies that color peoples' intentions, but no doubt there's some fascists among us. I remember there was a post about it on /cth, and a user had broken down how to spot a fake leftist. I wish I could remember more, but the most striking one was "high volume, low substance" posters. The person publicly called out a couple suspicious users, and alarmingly, their accounts were almost immediately scrubbed. They will often create a "presence" or "personality" and karma by reposting memes, bandwagoning, and doing things like calling everyone "lib" (lol I think we all do that) so they fit in.

This shit would be ripe for academic study.

Yeah ive seen a lot of uninformed super surface level "tankie red fash" vs "anarkiddie" rhetoric flying around lately that just reeks of wreckers trying to exploit our differences.

i think its just because we kinda lost our unifiying leader in a sense, there is no bernie sanders anymore like the most radical lefties probably dont feel like waiting hours to vote for the guy they have hated for months after the dem used voter supression on their own voting base, plus voting for him wont stop the rising tide of fascism at best only slow it down.

the most liberal probably feel like the other are just being too defeatist, and that voting cost nothing to them at least.

so really we dont have a good reason to not just criticize eachother for our believes like ML vs AnCom and others

It's also comes off as a sort of narcissism of minor differences in terms of practical application of ideology within developed states; your differences in activism is aesthetic.

I think its because we are redirecting our pain and anger at the system onto each other because there is nowhere for these emotions to go. There is no struggle yet. I think this is also why there is so much drama in the queer community as people are projecting their pain from being oppressed onto others.

There's a difference between saying "all statists are evil" or "all anarchists are evil" and criticizing certain aspects within each ideology. Regardless of your affiliation, you should be able to acknowledge that no leftist ideology is perfect.

Yeah, all the MLMs popping champagne over r/Genzanarchist getting "couped" was cringe as fuck. We cannot claim to unite the working class when we shit all over other leftist movements.

I always see people talk about division within the leftist community but tbh I don't actually see it in action that much. Perhaps I'm just not browsing the places where it mostly goes down
