I need more skirts. Just got my swimsuit bottoms (a "skort"), and I think they're going to work out. However, other than that I still only have TWO other skirts, one of which needs jeans/leggings underneath. I love skirts, I always thought I would never be able to wear them, or I wouldn't look good in them, but they have given me some sort of gender euphoria "power creep" and now they are better than any of my shorts (I really thought those would be my thing). Not gonna lie, this has me wanting to try a dress as well bridget-pride

I have a lot of short athletic shorts and I love them, but skirts are indeed amazing. I wish I could give you some lol, but I can recommend thrifting. Most types actually look good on most people.

Thrifting is great, it makes it so much easier and affordable to replace my "wardrobe". I'm thinking of going for some mid-sized and longer skirts, since both of the ones I have are short!

Also don't get me wrong, I still love my shorts. Can't really do many hikes with the skirts (or just the skirts).

Real. I just replaced a bunch of boring masc crap with random colorful stuff. I mostly have moderately length skirts. Idk how people just never wear shorts under skirts. Wearing a skirt rn and I’ve got other underwear under my “boyshorts.”

Girl do it. Dresses were a game changer for me, Not immediately but I thought they had potential and now they're the core of most of my staple outfits. Also, dresses with sneakers is an underrated look imo.

Glad they work well with sneakers, since they're all I have 😅 (I really want to try boots as well but the sizes tend to be too small 😔).

I would probably have a similar experience to you. Dresses have potential, but they'll probably look much better on me when I'm further into my transition.

If you're in the US, torrid has extra wide women's shoes. I've been meaning to try them, another trans woman I know recommended them. I have the same issue with boots so I'm hoping this can solve that by the fall so I can go frolic in the leaves in season appropriate footwear this time lol

Skirts can be cheat code to giving you hips. You gotta pull em up to your waist though. Your actual waist.

Good to know, thanks! I have to try this when I get a longer skirt.
