Didnt see this one here, but maybe I missed it. Can't really recommend the video, it's about as appalling as it sounds. The article tells you all you need to know tbh.
This is like a joke that keeps escalating. "Cops shoot 13-year-old boy..." "...with autism..." "...eleven times..." "...while he was trying to run away from them."
Just another bastard that is going to walk away from this still having his job and out on the streets ready to gun someone else down.
police chief mike brown slowly places a manila folder atop a pile of similar folders which lay stacked on the left side of his teak wood desk. his hands shake slightly as he pours a drink from the whiskey bottle he keeps in the third drawer down. the report contained in the manila folder had affected him deeply.
one of his officers had shot an unarmed thirteen year old autistic boy eleven times in the back during the course of what had been a call initiated by the boys mother. a tear rolls down his cheek.
"it was a good shoot. just beautiful" he says, a smile on his face.
I don't get why the mom chanced calling the cops. I guess some people just don't believe it until it's their kid bleeding on the ground.
I read about this in a CNN article and apparently the mother told the cops he has triggers related to law enforcement, wtf
Oh come the fuck on. When you say shit like this you're implying that there is at least some blame to be laid on the mother. The mother called 911 because her son was having a fucking mental health crisis and she explicitly asked for a crisis intervention officer. She relayed all the information she could, and it was the fucking cops that shot her son. So don't go throwing shade on this poor fucking woman because she's a fucking victim here too, dickhead.
On a side note: Is there no separate number in the US for ie calling an ambulance or is that all done through 911?
Ah, okay, that sucks, we got separate numbers. Like one is for the pigs and a separate one for the real helpers(Ambulance/Firefighters).
The mother tells officers that her son has triggers related to law enforcement and that he has access to a BB gun or a prop weapon, but she doesn't think he has a real gun. Officers respond that they have to treat the situation as if he does possibly have a gun. During one recording, an officer can be heard expressing trepidation about trying to apprehend the boy. "If no one's in the house, no one's in danger... but he's not harming himself, I'm sorry, I'm not about to get in a shooting," the officer is heard saying.
I read that before I posted. Sorry if it sounded harsh, but calling the cops in this situation seems like a very bad idea to me.
Our heroes, protecting society from such an enormous threat.
Cowards with guns and badges, that's all pigs are.
I'd like to cite NWA's ahead-of-its-time-by-lightyears song "Fuck Tha Police." Fuck that shit, 'cause I ain't the one For a punk motherfucker with a badge and a gun To be beating on and thrown in jail We can go toe-to-toe in the middle of a cell
No it was in its time, the time just hasnt changed.
Poor bastard said "tell my mom I love her"...
This fucking meathead cop asking him to show his hands after pumping 11 rounds at the kid. Hang this absolute fuck.
The video is honestly way worse than it seems. The cop was yelling order to an autistic kid as if he was arresting some kind of super evil bad guy. Imagine being so fucking starved for action you start pretending 11 years old are a threat to your fucking life. He then unloaded his fucking magazine into the kid with no warning. The kid was not even running. Just walking away. Imagine fucking defending this.
