We're already seeing the seeds being sown for blaming them for a Biden loss.

"YOU WEREN'T CIVIL ENOUGH! YOU MADE US LOOK BAD!! THOSE SUBURBAN REPUBLICANS TOTALLY WOULD'VE VOTED FOR US OTHERWISE!1!" they'll screech.

Democrats/libs will never blame themselves for losing, only others. No matter how blindingly obvious it is that their pride and arrogance cost them victory yet again.

Like Hillary Clinton, one of their gods: They can never fail, only be failed.

My grandma went from asking me to go to George Floyd protests With her to saying “these demonstrations have to stop if we wanna best Trump.” Man the media’s messaging on it has done a 180.

Old lib brain is no different than old chud brains. Neither should have the ability to vote

this is such a fantastic idea

Presenting her with this ream of fake paperwork when she's discharged from the hospital. "Oh no grandmom you were out of network!" And then letting her know you've been saving up and can cover her whole bill.

Convincing her the giant hammer and sickle covering up the Coca cola sign is just a really popular whole grain cereal advert.

The old commies I've met just have a massive wall of delusion around them. They all just talk like it's still 1968 and revolution is imminent. It's kind of sad, but also they're universally good folks and the optimism is nice compared to zoomer doom. Plus they bring institutional memory which is something the left desperately needs.

Back in June, they were looking for a Russia connection to BLM and running that nonsense.

Back in June? They were saying that BLM was a Russian op to foment racial discord in 2016.

I've had this conversation already. I asked them which leaders of the protest they think are most responsible and how much the media should take responsibility. Predictably, it came down to "Bernie Sanders."

I then pointed out how convenient it would have been had he retained some sort of... platform, to energize, mobilize, and give hope to his base. Perhaps a "primary" of sorts, instead of feckless, misguided, and lobbyist-owned leadership.

And then 2016 was brought up.

There is no fuckin winning with these losers.

I think they know it's a really bad look to directly attack BLM. That's why they'll try and isolate the problem to "antifa" or "white leftists" i.e. despite all the evidence to the contrary they'll say that BLM was good but it was just a small handful of white antifa Bernie Bros that were stirring up all the trouble.

I hate that you’re right. I decided to move back in with my 71 year old diabetic mom at the beginning of the pandemic to help her but msnbc has poisoned her mind. It’s so frustrating to talk politics with her. I have better political conversations with my chud “friends” than her.

Depends on what libs you're talking about. Random self-identifying libs on the internet have never universally supported BLM, and I remember them openly denouncing BLM at least by the time of the Freddie Gray protests.

But if you mean PMCs, party officials, and elected Democrats, I'm pretty sure they'd just blame Bernie Sanders and "bernie bros" again, maybe with something about antifa thrown in for good measure. And then there's always Russia and, conversely, the actually legitimate problem of voter suppression. They won't even have to turn on BLM to denounce the protests, either, even if they had the balls to do it. They'll just push the narrative that white people from out-of-state are the ones causing all the violence, on both sides of course, and call it a day.

There is abolutely a split that is going to happen between the centrist lib democrats and the more leftist elements. They are just too opposed to each other to be able to continue working together. When that happens you might see a lot of people get radicalised as the dems will be now openly anti-leftist/anti-communist as opposed to the passive agressive crypto stuff they are doing right now.

it's more likely that the divide between the Rs and Ds explodes into a full civil war. leftist elements are still too small and lacking in any meaningful power to split the democrats.

I've already seen libs do it with the "it's time to separate the group from the message" shit, so I won't be surprised if they go full mask off before the election
