I love how they keep pretending it's specifically his age people have been talking about, and not the fact that his brain has been steadily turning into soup over the past 5 years.

I can understand the hogs loving Trump, but what's with these ghouls falling in line with Biden? He's like the worst. He has no charisma, is an ardent agent of empire, and policy wise, is just the same as Trump.

What's funny about all this is that Blue MAGA is more annoying that MAGA.

      Paid

They get some form of financial compensation

There is literally not one, NOT ONE, single organic diehard supporter on the internet. Maybe in some hospice care place there's a 95 year old with a morphine drip mere hours from passing who thinks Biden is an articulate young whippersnapper, but that's about it.

Hillary has her fedayeen. Still with her ™️ forever

Bernie, AOC, Ilhan Omar, and some others all have loyal fans who will keep going to bat, for free, forever

Like there are popular politicians who are charismatic or have otherwise managed to form this unbreakable sort of parasocial thing over decades of massaging.

Biden isn't one. He's a total corporate shill nobody whose career beyond being corporate shill senator from DE #2 was DOA until a Mr Barstool Ocrumbler came along and picked Jim Crow Joe back up to reassure the racists that the black guy would always have the most racist possible VP around to keep him from thinking about doing too much anti-white racism... or whatever.

He's a puzzle piece that got forced into place. He never had any business being in such a position. He should've (metaphorically for legal purposes) died on the primaries campaign trail. No one likes him just like no one likes Manchin. Capitalists like him, sure, and capitalists kept him in his seat as senator for years because he was their loyal doggy with the D after his name. Then he was an invisible VP. Then he was supposed to retire and die... Obama even snubbed him for being his successor. But the old dipshit just won't fucking stop finding the keys to the car. He was useful once again as the right wing "basically just a Republican" guy to win the SC primary (a pointless and irrelevant democratic state primary as SC will NEVER go blue) and for the MSM/DNC to rally around to rob Bernie for the second consecutive time in two primary seasons.

But no one likes him, no one has ever liked him, he was supposed to croak in approx 2019. Anyone supporting him online (and I'll die on this hill 100%) for his entire primary and then presidency is paid in some way or the most unintelligent/ignorant doofus on earth.

Yes, that exists but I think you're underestimating how stupid and basic libs can be.

There are people who will die on Biden Hill.

Looking at all this together I cannot help but think fate has ordained him to perpetually fail upwards and that I should become a devotee to this man whose rise could only be credited to divine intervention.

I think "paid" might be the wrong word. They support him because they get something out of it. Some might be paid, though others might just be so focused on "sports team" politics that they believe they have to support "their guy" no matter what.

Honestly I get blue Maga more than the defectors.

They've been denying reality for years and telling everybody that doesn't agree Biden is a successful progressive a Russian troll, they're just reverting to instinct.

The more baffling thing is the portion of blue Maga that somehow just realized a week ago Biden was a senile arrogant fipshit despite us telling them that for a decade.

That's just MSNBC. Most of the time.

A more serious answer would be maybe Daily Kos (is that still a thing?)

Breaking Points did a segment on this today. I believe her words were that the post-debate interview was "not a home run" and that his confidence, while maybe intended to be a strategic show of strength, may read as denial of reality when looking at actual poll numbers.

She was actually being quite lenient towards him, but anything short of delusional sets blue MAGA on fire.

They show the jen psaki clip about 10 minutes in. https://youtu.be/lE2wV_ud2Ro

The beginning half is funny because they dunk on Biden saying "goodest job" in the context of him giving a catastrophic answer to "how would you feel if you staying in the race caused Donald Trump to win?" Biden answers "as long as I do my best and run my goodest race, I'll be happy" which is a remarkably self-centered way to look at it.

        "not a home run"

The Reality - He hint the ball as a "blip" and it was an easy out.

BLUEMAGA - IT WAS A BASES LOADED HOMERUN THAT WAS SO IMPRESSIVE THE UMPIRE USED A SPECIAL RULE AND GAVE HIM 12 RUNS!

You might say she... Psaki'd... it to him, baby

She really put a pin... in his 2024 aspirations

        "Austin, that's enough"

(I hate that I remember her shitty "catch phrases")

The lib infighting is the best schadenfreude I've had in years. I don't know what's better the remaining blue Maga watching half their heros betray them or watching the people who just now realized that Biden is a senile arrogant dipshit get completely exasperated by getting called a Russian troll for their first time.

Yea and hopefully Santa brings me a shiny new sled for Christmas this year.

I really did have some hope, for like a day reddit had actually turned and people were calling out all the bullshit excuses.

Now it's back to the status quo. But one thing I noticed is r/blackpeopletwitter is astroturfed to shit.

24 hours and every post sounds like it was written by a 22 year old nerd with a lanyard saying "one guy is a rapist and the other guy got tongue tied"

There was legitimate frustration at the headlines but I'm assuming all those accounts are experiencing technical difficulties so things are heading back to on track.

There is a few people at least who seem to recognize that the articles about how it wasn't a big deal are basically the same as "Oh sure so dale earnhardt takes one turn a little wide and suddenly he's not allowed to race anymore?"

Yeah, after they started asking posters to provide photos to prove they weren't white, reddit had to step in to stop that nonsense, the subreddit was getting dangerously close to having independent thoughts.

And yeah, I know it isn't likely that they'll actually self reflect, but most of us here were libs at one point, and I think we all had that moment that broke the comfortable illusion of liberalism for us. It won't change most of their minds, but hopefully some of them actually start to question things.
