    OKAY NERDS kiryu-slam

Who has some good GL webtoons? Can be manhua, manwha, donghua... american comic stuff, weeb comics, anything works but I need good quality comix about girls kissing.

EDIT: I ended up compiling a list of slop I like.

    list of finished series
    • I Love Amy by Unun - sad doggirl tomboy gets dragged around by a yandere stereotype. Pretty good.

    • After the Curtain Call by ASSAM - uh this one is ok I guess, been a while, some TV/actress slop.

    • Always Human by walkingnorth/arielnorth - transhumanist lesbians, it's sort of about disability as a subtheme. Good stuff.

    • Blooming Sequence by Lee Eul - more film/TV/actress slop, been ages but thought it was okay.

    • Getting to Know Grace by Seo Rim/Mokma - ohhhh this dreary gothic elizabethian maid/lady romance kinda slaps. Love the art.

    • Ghosts of Greywoods by LetINK - weirdly the sams as above, also very good. I like LetINK's second series more but it is unfinished.

    • It Would Be Great If You Didn't Exist by Carbonara - this tanks in the last third but the art is cute and the leads have such an excellent love/hate.

    • Mojito by Fute - I forget most of this but thought it was decent. Solid art, I liked both leads.

    • Soulmate by Ke Ran Bing/Wenzhi Lizi - one of my favs, the time travel and chronic illness shit, it just hits. Love it.

here is some shit that's unfinished but I like
    • Aerial Magic by walkingnorth - nooooo why ;_;

    • Hella Good by Chiipi - this never updates but I like it okay.

    • Love, Lila by YREZU - I want these two to kiss but it NEVER updates last I checked.

    • Re-Blooming by LetINK - NOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYYY LETINK HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME REEEEEEEEEEE cri MY FUCKING BELOVED WHYYYYYY

    • What Are The Chances by Chantsky - haha look it's an age gap, sure hope that's not a trend wow, that wouldn't be cute. Chantsky is in college or something so it never updates.

    • How Do We Relationship by Tamifull - I have been meaning to reread this, the one yuri manga I have liked.

Uh lemme grab some GL/Yuri/imafuckinglesbian shit that I enjoy:

When it comes to yuri, or gl, or g×g or even romance novels or whatever, I have appalingly low standards versus my requirements for, Idk, trans rep. If there is a romance between two girls and they kiss, (preferably not in highschool holy shit) it's cool.

I honestly didn't remember the name and someone above said Alice in Chains, my brain figured that was it sadness Maybe its I love Amy? Idk. Three words, character name starts with an A, that's what I (thought) I remembered. i-love-not-thinking

Thank you, I've never looked at any manga type stuff, this is quite the list.

What did LetINK do to you?

Lol happy to help I guess, most of it is Worst Korean or Chinese slop tbh.

LetINK put Re-Blooming on permanent hiatus. My personal 9/11.

You fool! You've fallen right into my comfort genre! Although it's mostly manga rather than web comics for me

To start with actual webtoons, I've heard very good things about Facing the Sun but I haven't read it yet. I fuck with android lesbians though.

I've been reading The Dark Lord's Confession recently but I'm pretty sure it's going to be bait and I don't think the main narrative is good enough to justify reading it for that alone. I ended out shipping a straight ship for the MC though and I really fuck with the outfit designs so I'm sticking with it anyways.

I used to read Mage and Demon Queen but, eh, I lost interest when I kinda outgrew its humour and got bored with the premise.

Only other proper webtoon I can think of is... Maybe Knight Run? It's only really undertones though, and its mostly a weird mecha series. Plus the GL undertones are only in the first arc and are kind of more like queer coded villain stuff than real queer stuff. (Also incest-y and lolicon-y so not great on that front)

For other webcomics, Carciphona (https://carciphona.com) is a pretty good fantasy series. Similar to Knight Run it's more GL undertones (but for real this time). HOWEVER, it has a spinoff slice of life series which is pure GL called Amongst Us (https://amongstuscomic.com/) It is very cute and comf.

For manga, and I'm gonna make this its own category, I'm just gonna cover some particular favourites. Note that my taste is more for series that lean on fantasy in addition to the GL so there'll be some stuff that isn't pure GL mixed in.

First up is Stitch you Together a very short (4 chapters) zombie yuri about a girl who goes around with her zombified best friend stitching her back together when she falls apart.

Next is The Princess of Sylph, an unfortunately recently cancelled fantasy yuri about a nun and princess who fall in love with each other due to particular circumstances. Probably the closest to what you want here. The series will be getting continued as an online thing too, luckily.

Salvia no Bouquet is a recently started fantasy one, which I desperately hope doesn't become romantic but I fear it might. Basic premise is that the orphaned MC is taken in to be an apprentice to a magician. So far only one chapter is translated but it's a really lovely little familial bond thing going on, it's different but I like it too.

Lastly there's the Eclair manga collections which are these collections of short yuri oneshots by various authors. I've only read snippets of them but they're often good.

        LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO

Facing the sun, I think I read ages ago. Android lesbians, yeag...

I'm pretty sure it's going to be bait

pathetic My coffee maker has one job...

Yeah it was okay, M&DQ, surprisingly I followed it right until like the last 20 chapters, Idk what the problem was...

        undertones

pathetic ONE JOB, also ech loli.

I read Amongst Us actually, I think my source quit updating. I like the leads tho cute series.

The Princess of Sylph sounds potentially interesting, but trans-gun what does "cancelled, continued as an online thing" mean?

The Eclair name rings a bell, did Crescent Moon and Doughnuts start there?

          I'm sorry I'm a bad coffee maker...

In my defense you asked for webtoons and I gave you webtoons.

Princess of Sylph started as an online pixiv fanbox manga that then got published, but it didn't sell super well so it got cancelled. The author said that it will continue as a fanbox manga like it started and the fanlation team for the series is pretty dedicated (they translated both the published and online manga in full or close to it so far). The published manga is a reboot of sorts for the story compared to the pixiv one (to make it more gay) and the continuation is planned to continue from it rather than the original.

Reading over the author lists, no, there's no relation between Eclair and that series.

Trying to think of other series since I'm clearly so bad at this.... I guess I could give you a bunch of Mariari doujins? Since it's my favourite touhou ship and I read a lot of them but that's not really being helpful considering you can find them just by hunting that ship in particular...

This is hard everything is either not good enough or popular enough that I feel you've probably read it...

Her tale of Shim Chong is amazing. A feminist GL manwha set in pre-modern korea(not familiar with korean historical periods sadly). It is also finished.
