common for whites to view "befriending" or marrying token nonwhite people as an act of colonial/imperial domination while simultaneously trying to cynically use their "loved one" as a shield
obviously the most toxic of dynamics are at play within such relationships
I want to learn more about this dynamic from an academic point of view. This has to have a formal name, I've experienced it myself (though I have never had the gall to tell those people that I see through them) so many times.
I have family like his wife. One of them is my own cousin who married this woman that makes illegals immigrant jokes to his face when he’s a brown Guatemalan. But hey, at least he got the blond girl he always wanted!

He was being somewhat sarcastic in all fairness but based on everything else he's said in his idiotic career I'd call it more of a schrodingers asshole move.
It's so weird to care. Even in the positive it's so weird to care. I was an adult before I ever thought about my parents being different races. The challenges they faced were because of weird people thinking weird things in their little brains filled with worms.
Whites, particularly Anglos literally cannot help it. I swear, an innate urge to destroy anyone except for themselves is in their blood like they’re Tolkien orcs or something.
