Last year in Oct, the combined active and reserve for the IOF was ~700K people

I assume that Israel is lying and underplaying the numbers here because they always do for their own injured. But even going off their own numbers, 100K out of ~700K is catastrophic. And 100K injured out of a population of ~9.4M (in Israel), which will mostly be young people like 18-40-ish because that's who is in any military, also seems insanely high. That's like 1% of the total population, young people who were likely to do some form of labor for another 30-60 years, depending, now will totally unproductive or less productive. They've created problems that will haunt Israel (in more ways than one) for generations.

Not to be full capitalist brained on this or whatever. Just thinking about the long term ramifications of a genocidal state and how badly it's fucking itself while also doing a genocide. Something people have been warning the right wingers about since Oct 7 and many years before...

Mearsheimer mentioned on an interview with Greenwald (I know, I know but he didnt say much in the interview thank God) that in like 20 years or something, the Ultra Orthodox population in Israel is going to be something like 40%.

They are literally running out of people willing to keep this apartheid state going

I'm sure in the near future there will be a niche in Israeli cinema and journalism with movies and videos telling sad stories about the suffering of israeli soldiers while in service and their lifes afterwards, and with nothing to say about palestinians.

Well, let's just hope that those myriads of traumatized, deaf-blind burn patients missing an arm and spending half the day doped up and coughing up their lungs, will come to understand the true nature and circumstances of their misery, and never forgive themselves for the misery they inflicted on others... Now how likely this is to actually happen remains questionable at best, if the death cult is still in power and the treat machine still works by 2030; but hey, that's what hope is for, isn't it?
