If you want to take pictures of people to narc on them, start with folks parked illegally in bike lanes, bus lanes, sidewalks, or otherwise. This is actually a meaningful way to improve public safety. Folks parked where they shouldn't be cause cars, bikes, wheelchairs, people, etc to then also do something dangerous and go where they shouldn't be, leading to more accidents.

Of course, it's not about public safety. It's about getting "those people" in trouble. I fucking hate libs so goddamn much. Live out your stupid narc power fantasy in a way that's actually beneficial instead of just trying to hurt people for no fucking reason.

Always call the cops when you see a cop driving above the speed limit.

Many years ago, I discovered that this was very funny for a while, until I started getting pulled over daily on my way to work.

Imagine being the kind of fucking busy body that sees someone in a mask and thinks "Egads, the cops should know about this!"

You know I remember when Covid first dropped we kind of wondered if "mask culture" would take hold here and people would start just wearing masks more often even when the pandemic ended. Even at that time I wouldn't have been cynical enough to think they'd actually be passing laws making wearing medical masks a crime. We are a deeply stupid country and we deserve complete annihilation.

It's not primarily about covid or health, it's about Palestine and free speech. Supporters of these recent efforts are trying to criminalize masked protest and give the state more authority to target resistance activity.

      From Forbes

Under the new bill, anyone wearing a mask or a face covering would violate the law and could be charged with a misdemeanor. The only exemptions would be individuals who wear masks or face coverings for health or religious reasons.

How do you think authorities will regularly utilize the health exemption for wearing a mask in public? I'd imagine, given the history of police proclivities and their own comments, they will use it to selectively target the usual suspects and anyone raising a fuss about genocide, about war, police brutality etc.

I remember some hysteria being spread about pro-Palestinian protesters wearing face masks, hence the rhetoric around "criminal" and "dangerous" people wearing masks to conceal their identity (given that left-wing college students are more likely to wear them for health reasons anyways). Probably not the main reason but I think there's an element of that.

Look there are only so many seats at the re-education camps, some of them are just going to have to go in a big hole in the ground.

Ah and just as we might be entering another pandemic with Monkeypox, wonderful well I guess we'll know when the county of Nassau gets depopulated as everyone's coughing into each others faces.

Ok. I'm convinced now, the US ruling class worships Nurgle. I cannot fathom another reason for this beyond they worship a fictional(?) Chaos god of death and disease.

I think it's a reference to a mass shooter who dressed up like an old lady, happened last year or something
