Just felt like sharing, feels good to stand up for what I believe in! I know La Riva won't win, but Nate Bronze says Biden's up almost 9 points MN right now so if he blows it I'm not even going to feel bad. Fuck the Democratic Party

      o7 comrade

Out of curiosity, why not La Riva? My infantile understanding of electoral politics is that if candidates hit certain thresholds their parties get funding the next round

The PSL is on the ballot in only 15 states. So it could be that La Riva wasn't an option.

Roger. So if they aren't on the ballot write ins don't count?

Sorry, the cogs to this plinko game have always confused me. It's like a Rube Goldberg voting machine with 900 intermediate complications that somehow result in less information making it to the end

most of the states dont really count write ins at all. there are "regulations" about them, which means they just chuck them all out as being noncomplient.

plus theres like a dozen states where they outright state "lol no"

edit: off the top of my head, vermont, new hampshire, penn. and oregon all accept write ins. theres probably a couple others. its not a lot

I was told if I don't like it I should vote... And then they promptly chuck my ballot?

Well that does it folks, lock & load. The lib theorem has been disproven, viva la revolucion!

And yeah what the fucking fuck are states doing dictating rules for the federal elections.

Idk at this point its like pointing out logical inconsistencies with some specific religious sect - it's a fun academic practice but, like.. Yeah it's obviously all riggy

oh my sweet little baby child, youre lucky if they even let you fill out the ballot in the first place round my neck of the woods

edit: yeah, obviously it is just massively problematic for states to create rules regarding federal elections. somehow neither party seems to care about that though. for some reason. cant quite figure out what that reason might be

Idk, I prefer my villains to be mask-mask off & blatant. All this trickery & deciet, great shams and parlor tricks...

                  That's fucked.

TBH I haven't got the slightest clue. It varies state to state. I don't have to worry about it much since La Riva is on the ballot in NY, but its honestly dumb that states have their own rules for federal elections.

Nah, I live in St. Louis county so the only other third party candidates (statewide) are the legalize weed parties, and I'd rather actually get rid of Pete Fuckin Stauber because he's a piece of shit

. . .must be received in the Absentee Voting Office with in 7 days of the election. . .

Another reminded of why spellcheck is no replacement for proof-reading.

I disagree, but I fully understand why you did that and wish I had the courage to do so in the same position.
