Libs have totally stopped taking about her after what they thought was her 15 minutes, instead she is out there almost every day it seems protesting against the climate and Israel. She has grown increasingly anti capitalist and its all just very cool to watch as she’s someone I looked up to a lot when I was a younger lib.

this The fact that she was going to a Marxist school when she was shot has been omitted from almost every mainstream media source from the beginning.

“The first Trot sympathizer to the get the Nobel Peace Prize,” noted the British-Pakistani writer and onetime leading Trotskyist Tariq Ali in an email to Al Jazeera on Malala. “Did they know?”

Malala’s association with the leftist group predates her Nobel and the Taliban’s attempt on her life. She addressed the IMT National Marxist Summer School in 2012, speaking from a stage adorned with portraits of Russian revolutionaries Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky.

Malala could have had some vaguely "left" sympathies when she was attending that Trot summer camp 2012 as a 16 year old. But I doubt that she has any kind of real socialist convictions left in her as a 27 year old adult, when she's been safely ensconced within Western elite liberal "progressive" institutions for more than a decade, and is now so financially secure and socially accepted within that crowd that she's co-producing suffragette Broadway musicals with the Hilldawg herself. https://archive.ph/rURQV

She's not a comrade or any sort of revolutionary. At most she's a safe brown "activist" who's ultimately compatible with Western capitalist hegemony.

A bit late to be honest, she made the connection years ago and frequently calls out the west as having a racist, oppressive system of capitalism which must be overthrown to solve climate change.

She said: “We are never going back to normal again because ‘normal’ was already a crisis. What we refer to as normal is an extreme system built on the exploitation of people and the planet.

“It is a system defined by colonialism, imperialism, oppression and genocide by the so-called global North to accumulate wealth that still shapes our current world order.”

I mean she basically said it word for word over two years ago.

Soviet era NKVD uniforms I think, looks like an execution scene from a movie. The coats are a bit different but the hat is definitely NKVD.

Think it's supposed to be NKVD, at least all the results on google have the blue hat and red trim.

I vaguely remember it's supposed to be NKVD? but I also remember someone telling me that the context of the movie this is from is bad

I struggle to understand how a movie depicting NKVD officers executing captured Nazis could be bad context

I'm still thinking she would end up a sellout lib if she is allowed somewhere close to the levers of power.

She has tested the limits of "acceptable" protest and found out firsthand that it's purpose is a safety valve to relieve pressure not a mechanism to induce change

The reason the West can't solve climate change is the same reason they can't solve any of their problems.

Instead of actually taking real action, they instead start imagining a fantasy world where they already solved the issue, and then pretend to already live in that fantasy.

Instead of tackling climate change, the liberal instead imagined how big tech would swoop in with some crazy innovation and save us all. Convinced that this fantasy was objective truth, the liberal stopped paying attention and went on with their life.

Instead of isolating, masking and properly vaccinating until the Covid19 virus was eradicated, the liberal instead imagined a world where the pandemic was already over, and promptly started living in that fantasy.

Instead of backing down and supporting a peace deal, or relenting and realizing that the war was going nowhere, the liberal instead convinced themselves that the West was a technologically advanced superrace where each weapon is a game changer, where Russia is on the verge of collapse and Ukraine is winning every battle. Now they believe that Ukraine has already won, and are shifting their attention elsewhere.

Instead of supporting a ceasefire, or withdrawing weapons from Israel, or doing literally anything to stop the conflict, the liberal instead imagined again, that they are the master race, and can easily crush any opposition and win any conflict, not even remotely registering that the US navy completely failed to deter the Houthis. In their minds, that event never took place.

They did the same in Afghanistan and Vietnam. They even did the same with Trump during his first election, and they will do the same with Taiwan, until the day they all die.

Do you trust the DPP to not try some dumb shit together with a US anti-china neocon administration. Like an independence refferendum, constitution change or some (in)formal US bases popping up

I have it on good word that westoid grey matter is arranged like this. Caucasoid crania in general show similar delusions of grandeur, but the glucose consumption in the relevant brain regions skyrockets into a new class of its own in ethnic zones where the winter temps are >25 F and the summers < 80

I'm really surprised at her trajectory. I thought for sure they'd make sure she has handlers who keep her "on track" and they just wheel her out at the occasional conference to deliver a sound bite in defense of the status quo. I do think she'll probably just become another "western leftist" type who has a lot to say about "dictators" and "authoritarianism" but I hope to be proven wrong on that front as well.

Still unfortunately way more recent than i heard and expected... can't take seriously person who support them.

Even regardless of nazism and purely as climate advocate, Ukraine is behind several attacks on nuclear plant, use depleted uranium ammo, blown up big dam causing horrible damage to environment, apparently tried to use nuclear blackmail in Kursk and ostensibly (though we all know it's USA but official version is that it's Ukraine) blown up Nordstream which also caused environmental catastrophe in Baltic sea.
