In 1950, Israel was the first country in the Middle East to recognize the PRC as the legitimate government of China... Since then, Israel and China have developed increasingly close strategic economic, military and technological links with each other... China is Israel's third largest trading partner globally and largest trading partner in East Asia... Shared commonalities and similarities between the cultures and values of the two nations with ancient roots dating back thousands of years as well as convergence of interests have made the two countries natural partners... China's status as a potential world power has prompted Israel to maintain closer ties with China by integrating China's global influence with Israel's economic management and its regional strategic importance in the Middle East... Beijing has appreciated Israel's political stability and diplomatic ingenuity and sees the Jewish state as one of the regional pillars for securing China's influence in the Middle East and the entire world.

    Ay caramba!

(this is good bait, @BASED_BALL , you've outdone yourself)

The woke Zionism that you see in the US today was what early Israel was internally. The original Zionist movement called itself labour Zionism. They were not really a capitalist country until 1985 and had an economic system that was arguably most similar to that of Yugoslavia than anywhere else, and in the world of international affairs also took the same sort of neutral position that Yugoslavia did.

The special relationship you see between Israel and the US today was not remotely as solidified early on as it became post 1967 and then during the oil price shocks of the 70s where Israel became a vassle state whose main purpose was to prevent broad arab unity and in turn prevent even more established price cartels for oil.

Two state solution is certainly not what's just, or even something that's easily workable, but it's the only thing that prevents that part of the world from totally imploding on itself that is also better than the status quo.

I struggle to imagine a world where the BDS organizers get their one state solution goal that doesn't result in millions dead on both sides. It makes sense that foreign countries support a 2 state solution and don't want to risk this stuff.

Yeah, especially with arms sales. It's neat to support a two-state solution, but when it comes to playing with new, shiny military toys, money talks.

This looks like it's not happening in China. So it's people who didn't like China enough to stay claiming to be the voice of China on this.

Yeah diaspora politics are weird and can't be generalized that easily, but silly to draw any conclusions from it anyway unless specifically discussing the diaspora.

"Chinese delegation, Jerusalem March, September 2013" via image source
Jerusalem March happens annually with the Sukkot (one of three pilgrimage festivals in Judaism) and is largely organized by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem and attended mostly by Christian evangelicals.

It is "an exciting way to show your nation loves Israel" to quote this promotional video.
Here is a short video of the parade in 2019. (also worth noting the significance of rainbows in Judaism/Christianity relates to the seven laws of Noah)

Edit: obviously these "delegations" are not government sponsored. Christian evangelicals just like to make a big thing out of "proclaiming to all nations" with flags and such.

All those articles about capitalists manipulating how poverty is defined.

It feels to me like china has a point that socialism can’t be won whilst everyone doesn’t have an iphone

What the fuck is that supposed to mean? People shouldnt be allowed to participate in other peoples technological advances?

. Humans like possessions, so if we wanna win as socialists, and to make the capitalist mode of production obsolete (which is the only way any mode of production has died out)

you contradicted yourself immediatly >humans like posessions . Capitalism replaced the late feudal mode of production because the middle class got too strong this wont happen with socialism. The proletariat do not have way to gain power electoraly like the bourgeoisie did

Beating, torturing and killing dissenters. This is all enabled by the states monopoly on violence and it all means taht no one outside the party can go against it

China must stop all trading and relations with Israel.

China must also stop all trading and relations with one of the most war hungry and destructive nations of the earth, the USA. The US has killed millions, and been in wars for 222 out of 239 years of its existence. The US is also currently committing forced sterilisation at its borders with ICE camps. It's the only ethical thing to do, and the only thing to consider.

China must also stop all trading and relations with the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Japan, the Philippines, and every other country that has ever done or is currently doing shitty things, including itself.
