Can't say he doesn't get around.

Jesse Ventura still would have gotten more votes even if he didn't make a single media appearance.

100%, it's honestly kinda why I'm fine with the existing strategy of dem enter for electoral politics and continued non electoral organizing for other socialist organizations.

The problem with american politics is that each party is mostly just "not republican" vs "not democratic".

The only way to advance your goals in American politics is to grab a larger slice of one of these two "not the other guy" sentements.

The problem with american politics is that each party is mostly just “not republican” vs “not democratic”.

            It's deeper than that.

2004 was the year Republicans tried to ban gay marriage state-by-state. 2008 was the year Democrats ran against insurance rescission. Gun control and abortion, felon disenfranchisement, income tax rates, tariffs and trade agreements, mask mandates and vaccine distributions - maybe they're all Lib issues, but they are issues that divide the parties.

This isn't just "Not Being the Other Team". Policy is happening.

I'm talking about the political coalitions that vote for said parties, not the parties themselves.

The Green Party have always been trash though. They are a complete joke compared to their European counterpart that actually do try and build themselves up on smaller scales and push for environmental change.

Strangely enough, the green challenging the democrat in my state house district seems like a brainless douchebag. I know the Democrat personally and she has described herself as an anarchist and has also never complained about my socialist posting on facebook.

There's a green challenging Ilhan Omar from the right. There's absolutely nothing coherent about the green party, literally anyone can run on their line even without actually being involved in the bigger party.

Where are the libs saying this is why we need to vote Green, for 5% of the vote to get some measly public funds. Yeah, it's really crucial that this random ass crank party get a couple hundred thousand dollars to do more podcast panels.

Vote La Riva or write her in. Notoriety and visibility for communists right now is the most important thing - not a bit of funds for this incoherent bourgeois green party or supporting one of the senile rapist right-wingers.

Lmao is he seriously going to have a panel discussion with Gazi? That guy's a fucking insane grifter and probably a fed. Like Black Hammer "crowd funded" $20,000 in a couple days from 28 donations for some dumbass publicity stunt. What fringe left wing group receives donations averaging $800 for something that really doesn't matter at all?

It looks like someone didn't do their research and the panel is getting pulled but it just shows how out of touch the Green Party is.

From what I know of La Riva, I love her. She is the only politican who has unequivocally called for reparations and freedom for Puerto Rico.

Gazi is the leader of Black Hammer, a group whose entire existence is based on being controversial about hating white people. They take the logic of Settlers and extrapolate it to basically mean that all white people are inherently evil, including Jews. They got popular for their anti-anne frank campaign online where they describe Anne Frank as a Becky, a Karen and a colonizer (lol).

I think he's saying here that he thinks it's funny that Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two white leftists, who Gazi assumes deserve to die because they're white. Never mind that they were trying to protect black protestors, all wypepo deserve to die, but especially white leftists and "kkkommunists".

Lol I know like Jews were literally a persecuted minority that were genocided. It's not like she was an Israeli settler. Israel didn't even exist yet.

No logic is too contorted when your worldview is basically "Black Panthers, but with Hotep and FBI wrecker characteristics."

God I wish BH would try to confront NABPP irl. BH is made up of middle class POC college kids that were radicalized on tik tok while NABPP is mostly ex-cons that were radicalized in prison lmao.

New Afrikan Black Panthers are communists who have a direct line to the OG panthers. You're thinking of the NBPP which is an antisemitic hotep group. The people who did the photo op weren't a real organization, they were actors that did it as a publicity stunt. Their social media was found and they are completely open about not actually being a political organization. One of the dudes was white lmao.

Yeah I hope they can make something if the group. I think it's hard for them because they're so small and a lot of them are still in prison.

Also the Greens are infested with TERFs, and refuse to denounce them . They have the same bullshit line about trans rights are human rights, and then the georiga chapter looks like the fucking UK and they're fine with it

The green party is like 10-20 people in each state, so while I don't know what you're talking about in particular, there really is no mass they for the green party.
